I miss all these people!
David Chase who wrote numerous episodes in The Rockford Files and was a producer clearly bleeding them in "The Sopranos"
There was also the theme song played when Tony was visiting a retirement home so he could put his mom in. David worked on Rockford, seasons 3-6.
Interesting, didn't know he wrote on both.
The Rockford Files was the greatest show ever, and part of me watches because it's perfect "70s".
Very interesting. The Sopranos was in many ways a Rockford Files reunion. Why didn't they cast Angel too? (Stuart Margolin) He was a brilliant con-man and low-level criminal on the Rockford Files.
I think Stuart was working in Canada at the time.
Yes, David Chase and others knew how to write for these great actors!
Anyone else think young Butchie look like if Chris Kattan and Mike Myers had a baby?
Supposedly richie aprile was on there too, according to his interview recently
He was in one of the reunion movies CBS aired in the 1990s.
rockford files is still great television! r.i.p James garner.
Sat. nites[prime time] NBC-
Dude, need several of these: pt.1, pt.2, & so on- -
some of those actors were also in Columbo
Wasn't David Proval (Richie Aprile) in Rockford Files?
He was in one of the reunion movies CBS aired in the 90s, "Friends And Foul Play".
