Sometimes in small live performances if you don't have a bunch of guitars to switch between, and you have songs in different tuning, you will leave it on to speed up retuning the guitar.
Excellent point....I leave mine on when we are playing a tight venue (having to do a lot of songs in a short period of time). That way I can tune on the fly!

He almost never has the same runs from the next time he performs it. And he also picks different lines in a song each time to switch up the melody/ and or run. Just clarifying that.

You should have a go at Chris Kläfford, his voice is one of the most expressive out there. Anything from his kitchen sessions but I’m partial to ocean eyes and Tennessee whiskey (fitting on a Stapleton reaction). The imagine rendition is also amazing. Thanks for being an amazing human.

the thing you notice with Stapleton is its so stripped down, he brings me to thinking about the late BB King (who i adored as well) they're worlds different while being very similar in the good ways the best of which is not overdoing it. dont apologize for singing , i love your voice so much when you sing along.

I mean I can, but for one song or so, and it better be the last one that evening, and next day I'm confined to whisper and caw like a crow. Can one toughen their vocal chords like a Carateka toughens the edges of their hands, until they feel no pain nor get blistered anymore? Or will he just pay the price in a couple of years and sound like a heavy smoker and drinker for the rest of his life? Wow.
