She killed the young claw guy because when she let the little boy go after killing the mute girl, he snitch on her. That was fresh on her mind.
Pretty sure she was hallucinating and killed a bunch of prisoners who weren't even attacking her...
They could have been individuals addicted to opium or starving vagabonds, etc.
Those “vampires” who were “attacking” her, I’m guessing, they were prisoners begging for her help but she was hallucinating and instead killed them instead
It could also be option addicted prisoners
You guys should watch the official black and white version of this episode that’s on RUclips! Maybe as a bonus reaction after the finale 👀? It’s got an original score and more sinister atmosphere if that’s even possible.
I have to say. You can not call Misu a Mary Sue. She got her ass whooped alot in the 1st szn. Especially this episode 😂
True she's nothing like a mary sue, she isn't perfect, the main cast doesn't automatically like her, she doesn't out shine everyone she's with. But people do still call her one since she's a woman which sucks, kinda shows that the people that use that term don't really know what it means.
I think I heard something about leaving a dead rat out, will discourage the other rats in the area. So basically to get ride of them for a while I guess.
What's cool is they released an alternative B&W version with different songs
This whole episode felt like a mix of Ghost Of Tsushima and Sifu!

Violet was seen in Episode 2 while Mizu was meditating on the cliff before the Shingi. Violet looked more like a white version of her while she looked like the Japanese "proper" version of herself. After killing Violet, she touched the marking on her arm.
Why think this is Violet? I think it shows her killing off the white versions of herself and become the more pure person she's supposed to be with each kill. Plus, again, she touches the marking on her arm after this flash. So, it's safe to say that Violet at least had some resemblance to her.

Oh yeah , forgot about her memories about her mom.
She's been completely engrossed in her vengeful quest.
But, Ringo is the spiritually pure element that is offering her path of redemption.
He is just the best character. And everyone (not his father) who meets him, learns to appreciate everything he offers. In the strangest fashion, he clearly represents the cultural concept or demeanor of striving to focus on purity and perfection in one's life that modern Japanese culture is often seen as, by modern international standards.
That Metallica needle drop was just as good as Eddie Munson in Stranger Things. Definitely gave me some Bruce Lee vibes.

IIRC it wasn't a human body shield, Ringo used the saddles of the horses.
The little claw that she killed was a surrogate for the child that turned her in earlier in the episode.
Such an intense episode. This show is absolutely amazing. On a side note: Fowler is so evil and it feels so strange to remind myself that this man (Kenneth Branagh) directed the live action Cinderella .

They released an official, more Kurasawa-esque version of this episode on youtube with different soundtrack, mostly in monochrome.

Hey Steph and Kristen, it's been about 3 weeks now since you reacted to "2 Fast 2 Furious" and I'd like to try reminding you both to react to "Fast and Furious", "Fast 5" and "Fast and Furious 6" first before Tokyo Drift because they are prequels. You'll understand the story in this franchise so much more if you watch them this way, otherwise you'll get confused like anyone of us who watched them in release order.
