    Rules really aren't out yet and there is already what seems to be a pretty sizeable FAQ with a few clarifications and additions that are massive oversights

      Rules are out now! They were released today, same time as the first FAQ :) (books are printed way in advance so there are always oversights to fix)

      Also all these rules have been play tested so these afq's come from that aswell

    I have sent this question to the rules team, will update when I get the results. On the war scrolls casting seems to be the only thing mentioned with bonuses I have asked if the bonus is also applied to unbinding roles or if this has changed from third edition.

    i know GW want to sell those endless spell model , but it still suck so much that all endless spell do , even in 4th , is mainly blocking your big base unit from charging in some part of the map.

    Static manifestations are now clear to me, but what about static faction terrain? Can you use sylvaneth trees to block your oppoennts charge?

    • @Strade8
      @Strade8 4 месяца назад

      For what I understand you treat them as terrain.

      Faction terrain are basically the same as static manifestations, they got fixed as well.

    For companion can we increase the damage of a weapon?

    • @_Fabien_B
      @_Fabien_B 4 месяца назад +3

      No, that's part of the weapon characteristic! Long story short, you can't modify Companion weapons for anything with friendly abilities unless specified otherwise.

      @@_Fabien_Bwhat about battle Traits? And since it says that it doesn't get effected in the attack sequence, does it mean that you could have the case where you attack with the character with attack first and the mount later?

    Does heal bring back slain models since health is now a pool?

    • @_Fabien_B
      @_Fabien_B 4 месяца назад +1

      Heal just removes damage from the damage pool (the dice next to your unit), so no it doesn't bring back models.

    The companion rule is still confusing to me:
    1) if the ability is used by the player, and not a frinedly unit, as it is clarify in the same page, does the companion fet the bonus?
    2) If the units gets attack first bonus does the companion attack later? Does that cost another activiation?

    • @_Fabien_B
      @_Fabien_B 4 месяца назад

      1) Can't benefit from any friendly ability, doesn't matter if it's from a unit or the player (it was changed in the errata)
      2) Fight first affects the unit, not the weapon, so if a unit benefits from Strike first, it'll do all its attacks at once, whether they are companion attacks or not

      As in third edition it is stated when units have pluses to unbind, they're just far less common in 4th!

    • @_Fabien_B
      @_Fabien_B 4 месяца назад

      As Jordan said, bonuses to unbind still exist but they are rare: if an ability says only bonus to cast it won't affect the unbind rolls (and the opposite is also true, some units have bonuses to unbind but not to cast like the Warsong)
