Either way I always appreciated your insight for pick ups- Helped me realize I don't need a diesel yet so for my needs the 2500 Hemi suits me fine. Hoping RAM pulls through in the future should I need to go heavier.

I really respect you just saying it how it is. Ram has been struggling and ford currently has a better truck. Ford has a very solid engine/trans combo and as we see in this video, a very nice interior. My 2020 stx is bare bones but I still love it. Best pickup I’ve owned by far.
@@repairvehicle low end torque, tons of power 10 Speed trans thats solid and allows you to be in low rpm range. Big nice cab without having to pay a premium for a mega cab. Long bed, which you can’t get with a ram and the mega cab. Flat floor, no hump in the back seat.

I just picked up my 24 F350 Platinum and love it. Crazy to say but getting out of this truck with the massage feels better than leaving the chiropractor.. Honestly the only part of the truck that annoys me is when you hang up a call the center screen wont go back to the screen it was on and I can't fix it.
Beautiful truck Paul. Enjoy it. Looking forward to hearing about the 3.55s and tire size. I have 4.10s in my 4th gen and 3.73s in the 5th with stock size tires on both. Huge difference between the 2.
@dominicforrer7828 Depends on what you're main usage is for it. Our 3.73 truck is more of a daily and we don't use it much to tow. Our 4.10 truck is strictly for work pulling heavier weight. It's give and take. The 3.73s get better mpg and turns less rpm on the highway but the 4.10s are very nice because at any rpm you lean on it and it just pulls but the mpg is not as good and it'll turn slightly higher rpm on the highway. For work, I'd go with 4.10s. For daily and every so often pulling a decent load 3.73s work well also. Hope that helps.
I've had a 23 f450 h.o and now 24 f350 h.o they regen more when new. Both trucks did that. Internet people says you don't need 4.10 lol my f450 had 4.30 now 3.55 in f350 it don't have the same power. Pulling hills with the f450 it might shift down to 9. F350 shifts alot more. I pull heavy usually up to 34,000 behind the truck. On the flip side the f350 truck by itself will get 20 mpg. 17 on the f450.
I miss my 4th gen, it was a 2016 that I sold with just 21,000 miles a little over a year ago. Never had a single issue. Bought it to get myself in a 5th gen. I have yet to do so and might now try to get back into a super low mile 4th gen. I have a MINT 2000 Cummins with 12,410 miles on the dot, it will last my lifetime and a 99 5spd that’s my daily/work and she’s purring along at 268k miles, will never sell it. We’ll see what new truck I get myself into this year. A Flame Red 5th gen, a low mile 4th gen or might get myself a Gen 3 Raptor.
100% agree about the seats and cab of a Ford. I also have a sensitive back (45 years old) and higher trim Ford seats are wayy better than GM (worst) and Ram (hard and unsupportive in wrong places). I bought a 24 limited longhorn Cummins and loved to look at the seats and my back hated to be sitting in them for the 5000 miles I owned it. Traded it for a 24 f250 platinum diesel and my back doesn’t hurt at all no matter how long the drive. I also own a 22 f250 king ranch diesel (15,000 miles on her) and those (old school type) seats are good on my back. I also own a 22 f150 Lightning platinum (which it’s seats are very similar to your limited’s) and they are a pleasure to be sitting in (33,000 miles now) I also can’t stand the small cab feel on GM and Rams. The mpgs of my fords are 19% better than my 24 Cummins got, and are way more fun to drive! I’m going to order a 25 f250 limited (Lord willing) to replace my 22 king ranch in a couple months. I want to be sure I get my order in before the 2027 diesel emissions fiasco that’s coming! Your limited is a lovely vehicle! Ford is on the ball with their trucks! PS: I swapped out the dummy hub on the passenger side to make it manually lockable- ford took that away for 24. But it was only 189 bucks for parts and 30 minutes.
19.1 is pretty much what f150 owners 3.5& 5.0 get in daily driving. Once you start working that truck, that will change. I typically get 11 to 12 towing on my F150 v8
Can you do a video on why the engines failed on your 22 rams? Would they have had the same issues if they were able to breathe with a weight reduction?
Not a big deal most go few hundred thousand miles with zero major issues . If it happens to you it’s a very rare occasion and no big deal get it fixed keep going

@@jethrobodine011 The CP4.2 failures are overblown. It doesn't happen often. The DPK is an easy fix if you have trouble sleeping at night over it. You can also delete the emissions on the new 23+ trucks - its not that big of a deal.
