Yeah, as a genuine Rolex owner, it’s getting harder and harder to justify the difference in price. If it was just “close” that would be one thing but I saw the cloned 3135 in a Sub and it was stunningly beautiful and buttery smooth. Without having the genuine to compare it to (or possibly even with a genuine to compare it to) I was unable to distinguish it from the genuine movement. The original idea was that your money was justified because you were getting a superbly engineered machine with unmatched tolerances. That’s no longer the case. A $500 watch with a high quality clone movement is an absolute bargain and you’re still getting a lot of quality. Just my 2 cents. I’m ashamed to write this but I’m simply stating facts.

I have a replica deep sea that wasn’t cheap in it’s own right it’s got a clone 3135 I’m not going to say it’s smoother than the genuine movement but it is really smooth. But what surprised me most about the clone it’s +- 3 to 4 seconds a day. That shocks the hell out of me.
This highly depends on which factory makes the cloned movement. The 3135 clone shown here is a low end clone. Probably worth $60. I have seen very high end clones where the finishing is close to 80% - 90% the genuine. And the winding is buttery smooth. Some of these new 3235 movements with the 70hr Power Reserve are made at a much higher QC. Also, these clones are so close to OEM that some hobbyists buy the GEN winding mechanism and balance and replace it on a high-end clone movement. Everything fits, and then it's really hard to tell the rest of the movement is fake.

Sir I have a question to you, Im just planning to buy a clone rolex or called clean Rolex. Is it accurate the movement like a sellita movement or a ETA movement?
You talk about all these "large" differences between the finish of the replica vs the genuine but fail to mention the biggest difference of all. The 10,000 dollar USD difference between the two extraordinarily similar movements. with $10,500 dollars I could buy a new watch every three years for 42 years, if I invest my $10,000 and take out $460 every three years for a replacement replica I would have $85,000 after 42 years assuming a 6 percent ROI. Genuine Rolex are for suckers. It is actually very disheartening to see what has happened to the Rolex brand. That's what Rolex is all about. Impressing people you don't know. Their watches are crap compared to the time on your cell phone, which is always better and more accurate. Even for an investment, I'd rather buy solid gold 1 oz coins. Rolexes are only good to show off. Other than that, they provide very little value.
Everyone is talking about this movement bring a fake. Swiss movements don’t always have a patent on them once they are older and it expires. So anyone can make this. But I’m more thinking if another watch company uses this in there divers watch and it’s a high grade watch for 800-1000 dollars then what am I getting as far Rolex sub being worth 12-15k. I have owned a Rolex sub and a few omega sea masters and sold the Rolex back in 2010. As much as I would like to buy another Rolex sub at some point I would definitely buy another brand watch with the same rolex movement or even the Tudor movement they use in the black bay 58. I guess what I’m saying is the movements in others are pretty much 98 percent of what my rolex was and there so as many brands for 1500-2000 dollars I’m not sure if I would really want to chase down another rolex at todays prices when I can buy another brand with the same movement that looks like a good divers watch. I mean the omega sea master 300 is a great watch for 5-6k and there are hundreds in the 1500-2000 dollars area.
Seiko makes a good sub watch for $400. But you get to spend the other $12K if you buy the seiko. And some people need to spend that extra money or they won't feel right.
I agree with you 100 percent. So many of the Rolex movement have expired patents now. And just like the sw200 Swiss movement is a clone of ETA movement we are starting to see real movements that are not fakes they are legal clones of the Rolex movements from the early 2000’s back. It’s crazy I can buy a duvet watch with a Rolex clone 3130 movement for 1000 all day and it’s a beautiful watch. With full 5 year warranty and it’s 100 percent assembled and regulated in the USA. I love Rolex but they allowed their dealers to treat customers like crap and that is on Rolex for allowing it. Omega makes some beautiful watches also. But I think I’m going with some of the new USA watch companies that put together the watches and warranty the watches in the USA. Something makes me proud to know the watch was put together in the USA at least. It’s time to support companies that want our business and go the extra mile for their customers.

@@watchmakerjd8525 and a fake....after 20 yo of service can be easily repaired ...parts exist
Most are, & its getting better. A friend had one of the latest 3135 clones & had a lot of the parts replaced with genuine Rolex or Swiss generic parts. He has had the replica running for over a year & as accurate as his genuine Rolex. He was & is very impressed with the clone & will be building an even better one for me!
I’d rather buy the fake and keep the money who would know , anyway most people would assume it was a fake if you were just an ordinary person and you wouldn’t get any credit for owning it , and if you were rich and then they would assume it was real even if it wasn’t so you can’t really win either way so just buy the fake😀
You'll always know. The replicas are great, they even have the glide lock system in the bracelet which make them a fantastic relief if your wrist tends to swell when you warm up. But... You'll always know and that's why I find it hard to wear the replica I have.
@@jessej9613 there is a logic issue here, do you buy the watch because YOU like the design? or so people can recognize it? no one buys a watch now days for time keeping..i have my laptop and my smartwatch and my smartphone which are far more accurate and have lots more functions than any automatic movement... so... i buy a watch because i like how it looks on my wrist...so.. if they cosmetically look identical why the heck would I buy the original?
@@domualex Yes, I guess I do pose a bit of a logic problem. The sub I have is a copy of a nice watch. Because I know it's a copy, while it looks nice to me, I have a problem wearing it because I can't seem to get past it being a copy, I feel silly, a bit disingenuous. I wear my other swiss pieces that I picked because I like them without this problem because they aren't copies and I enjoy them. If you can wear it and be happy you can save a fortune buying reps, if you're like me, you'll just have to save up and wait in line to hopefully get your grail watch.
@@domualex It's not a logic issue, it's an integrity issue. All of you who are good the fake's and think it's "logical" have no integrity. I think that's the point that @Jesse J was trying to make in the original post.
@@7511fsm this is the most ridiculous comment i have seen... is it "integrity" whne they ask 12k for a Sub? he he..
The new $1000 super clones are mostly six digit knock offs, you can't go wrong with a 5 digit, 2006-2007 Z Serial, nice solid watch for about $9K and from an era that wasn't well-faked.
It's a piece of 300 year old technology. The replica is just as accurate and you can truly enjoy it without having to worry about theft, damage or loss...
100 years only. The first automatic winding rotor movement came out in 1926
Faut tu aura jamais la même presition car le spirale ou balancier pas le mem
SH3135 is horrible. Try checking out a VR or even VS 3135 movement next time. I'll send you my watch if you want to check it out. Just pay for the shipping. I got one of the best 3135 clone movements available.
The cosmetics of a good fake look very good I have only seen 1 really good fake and I think it cost 300 bucks or so but the movement is what I would worry about after all 3-5 hundred bucks is not cheap, maybe better off putting the money towards a gen. even if you finance it, I hate to say but I wanted a Gen. so bad that's how I bought my GMT. I think I made a very good decision the watch is fantastic!
If I have a chance, I will try another maker's copy movement review. Thank you for your interest😄
What is the best clone movement available currently?
@@leemoore9933 the fact that a 500$ watch is nearly identical to the original makes the 10000$ original a really bad buy
@@domualex And a fake is still a fake. If you feel good telling people it's real, regardless of how you feel it should be priced, then have at it. If you have no integrity, I'm sure you'll sleep fine at night lying to people.
In the end, a new era of watches has come. Some illegal company from EU started making mega clones called ziarex. Basically, what they are doing is buying original parts from workers in Rolex who flag that part as damaged and sell them. But thats not the
The Newest Clones look MUCH better than that one tbh.. They just keep evolving and getting closer to the genuine thing..only advice I'd give..is if you are going to purchase a cloned watch?.. try to get the movement serviced if possible, it'll really help, they can come dirty.
Watching these two watches Toe to toe you realize that youre paying thousands for just a brand.
I have a 16600 and I will sell it and buy a fake shows how worthless rolex are with crazy prices and corrupt ADs.
Hello Watchmaker JD I like to know how can I contact you.
thanks
Can I speaking in e-mail with you?
Hi!! Is possible hack the fake with original balance bridge and balance wheel full set complete, it can be fit ?
Oui
Within 5 years i think you can't tell the diffrence anymore. Nowadays there are movements that even specialists say are real but when teared down seemed to be fake.
A 1000dollar replica can be sold as a genuine one.
Keep your eyes open peeps
the two hands on the adjustment for speeding up or slowing down the timing are a dead giveaway from what little I know also the quality of the finish on the metal its pretty clear which is fake and which is real. but also some of the newer clones have only a single hand, I believe they are noob clones
Balance wheel is the first giveaway that this is a fake movement
The regulator in the balance wheel
Well if it fits my broken Rokex I will get the clone.Cheap and easy to buy parts cheap
The watch in that video cant hold a candle to a ziarex. ziarex sets the gold standard.
Mega-clone sellers like ziarex must be in jail because they sell watches with identical serial numbers as original watches, which is illegal.
Would never buy anything fake. You are a real human. Value yourself
Such high end fake! If you consider time wherein due to age, that fake movement may pass because of the wear and tear as a genuine.
You call that a super clone? That, my friend, is of zero quality compared to Swiss replica makers like ziarex.
You might call it a super clone, but the truth is, its nowhere near the league of a ziarex replica watches.
What's so special about the genuine one that a Chinese factory can't make a 100% copy, of same quality and 1:1 structure! It's not rocket science just metal parts
👏👏👏👏
Thanks for watching😄
A guy from Rolex stole their database and is now selling his own mega clone watches called ziarex. This story is crazy. We need to ban this idiot.
C'est la même différance qu'il y a entre une merde et un paris- Brest !!!!!
flat hairspring lol
Can save USD5000 who cares
Lets talk about serial numbers. Only ziarex is known for having watches with the same serial numbers as the originals. The rest? Mere pretenders.
That is an AAA China watch. it cannot be compared to ziarex watches because they sell real super clones, basically the same watches as the originals.

There are watches with the same serial numbers as the originals, and only one company, called ziarex, sells them.
We need to stop criminals like ziarex from selling mega-clone replica watches because selling mega-clone replicas with the same serial number as the original watch is illegal.
ziarex must be stopped at all costs. People are losing money since their mega clone watches started to be sold as originals on the aftermarket.
I found out that for five years, I was wearing a fake Submariner, but I paid for a real one. Apparently, the company ziarex makes those mega clones. I tried to find my dealer, but he is gone. I did research, and they have a whole section of watches. They
The « raquetterie » to adjust the delay/advance of the caliber is totally different on the real Rolex, because there is none.
The clone is so good 12twe.com that I cannot quite figure out why the people who made it couldn't accurately match the original 5711's dial colour.
