11:52 The significance of this scene is pretty incredible. You're obviously not an MLB fan. The most fantastic thing that Part 2 predicted that nobody but Sports fans recognize: The Chicago Cubs hadn't won the World Series since 1908. This movie predicted that they would win it in 2015. The usually terrible Cubs DID make the playoffs that year. But even more miraculous was that they DID win the World Series in 2016 (their only other Championship since 1908 and haven't come close since). That's why Marty was so shocked that the Cubs won. Additionally, nothing was close to a "Miami" in MLB when this movie was made. However, Miami DID become an expansion franchise in the 90s, and they had a classic NLCS with the CUBS that became one of the most memorable Championship Series ever.

That's lowkey mean this movie gave a cheat code for us to do exactly what Biff did.

Hi CampCrystalCharlie, what great reactions so far. Yes! Part 3 is a must watch, you will absolutely love it, and after you have watched Part 3, you can sit down and watch the whole trilogy back to back, to back, you will see and hear soooo many things that you have missed. I've watched the trilogy ssoooooo many times it's unreal, but I just love everything about it all. 🙂
And the actor that plays Biff is a super nice sweetheart of a guy in real life,never met him personally but I used to know his brother in Philly,looks just like him

Regarding the ending of Part 2: I think it’s all personal preference in terms of which experience you want. For those of us that watched this movie back in 1989 (in theaters and vhs) the ending glimpse at Part 3 was part of the experience and very much welcomed! It had taken 4 years to get us BTTF2 and the Part 3 teaser was a way for the filmmakers to tell the audience, “YES - there is a part 3 and you won’t have to wait another 4 years to see it!”
BUT - in the world of reactors where you are watching these movies for an audience, it’s understandable if you want to go into each movie completely cold despite the original cinematic experience, simply because it makes for a better reaction in the long run.
Either way, glad you were able to experience these “timeless” (see what I did there?) classics!
I wished they had warmed us at the time so I could’ve left the theater. I don’t mind at the time because I was only 9 and didn’t question much but for one thing they give away the ending in that trailer
I wish they would’ve warned us at the time so I could have run out of the theater,I was just a kid so I didn’t mind but for one thing they show Marty and Jennifer reunited this giving away the ending. I know they had to make it clear it was a 2 parter but there were better ways to do that. Anyway it’s still a perfect trilogy
The tunnel at the end is a famous LA landmark used in several movies like Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Loving your reactions. This really is one of the few trilogies that I've watched repeatedly over the yrs. Also you wouldn't really need to go back and watch the last couple minutes of part 2 after you see part 3. I think it would be irrelevant at that point, but I also think it's better that you skipped it and will go right into 3.
3:10 Doc's look before answering. We only saw that from the back in the first movie, but it was intended as straight. (Also, it was never intended to set up a sequel.) Doc's look says, "Well, yeah, you do become an asshole. But I can't tell you." Marty's kids' problems were at a whole different level.

Terry the mechanic that cleans out Biff's car is the old guy in the future who gives Marty the gambling idea. The actor is Charles Fleischer who also does the voice of Roger Rabbit.

this movie might be my favorite out of the 3, even though i really liked part one. as a kid i'd watch this and see what the future could be like and it made me think that we'd really have all this stuff, like hoverboards and flying cars....i mean we did have hoverboards, but the lame one on wheels.
actually michael j foxx and christopher loydd went on jimmy kimmel as doc brown and marty and asked him how much of the future happened and jimmy brought up the hoverboards and how lame they were. the cubs were in the finals in 2015 too but they lost. then jimmy showed him a cellphone and what we do with them and he said that we're in a bad timeline and they had to go back to 1985 to fix us. lol
i forgot to say this in the last video but the delorean didn't sell well when it came out, but when back to the future used one in the movies the car became iconic. lol
this movie just showed me how much history can repeat itself. both with the same person and with their family generations later. is it generational curses or just bad luck? lol
as far as jennifer seeing herself that's actually a scientific theory. it goes like 2 of the same thing can't exist in the same place at the same time, like a person, or an item. it's a paradox. the theory is that if they both do exist at the same time and touch each other or come close to each other it'll create anti matter, and could blow up or something because the universe can't process it. but i guess old biff and young biff meeting makes that theory false in this movie. lol
this is the version of time travel that i like hearing stories about, how if you go back in time and change something it would affect your present and future. the time travel in dragonball z always confused me. how trunks went back in time and changed that timeline, but his present didn't change. it just created a seperate timeline. it's confusing. but here biff made an alternate timeline, marty and the doc went back in time, and they were able to undo it by getting the book back. it's simple. trunks went back in time for nothing to me. helping goku didn't help his future at all. lol
there are deleted scenes when old biff came back from the past after he gave himself the book, when he came back to 2015 he vanished because he changed that version of the person that he was. and it looked like it was very painful for him too.
i'd be tempted to go back in time and tell myself kid self to take better care of my pokemon cards. that and buy 1st edition original booster boxes and don't open them. they go for like 250,000 dollars today. that and to tell my parents to invest in something called "bit coin". lol
i wouldn't say that the ending was a spoiler but yeah it kind of is. it was more like a "on the next episode of back to the future" preview that most tv shows did back then. i think it was because they had to wait a little while for the next movie to come out so they wanted to give you something to make you want to watch it when it comes out. but since you can watch all 3 movies anytime you want you can skip it if you want. just like the previews of the next episode of an anime that you have all the episodes of on netflix. lol

The amount of planning, overlapping, and re-creating scenes from the first film made this such a fun film for me. It was done so well. And all of the actors playing either different versions of themselves or completely different characters. So good. So much fun. 😁

Last 2 movies were made at the same time so they were back to back1 in the winter 1 in the summer

1. It's not often sequels hold up to the original, but this does. Thank you 1980s.
2.This one is the best of the bunch. The next one is inventive but I'm not really into the story. That said, it is the perfect wrap.

Like you, I also felt....a weird kind of fear when i watched this movie, except i saw it back in 1989 lol. There are a LOAD of conspiracies linked with this movie, one being that the lottery is actually a trap to catch time travellers seeking financial gain. To some, Biff did become president (wafty haired Trump), and then there's this book, "The Last President: Barron Trump's Marvelous Underground Journey" , which is about time travel, written in 1893. It's kinda weird
You right Fav I’ve seen this movie over five times and whenever I randomly watch it or catch it on a streaming service I always peep stuff I didn’t catch the first time. It makes me mad he didn’t watch his surrounds, how they not catch biff lurking around. maybe it’s the 2024 version of me that always watches my surrounds because people wild but this such a classic dope movie. @@CampCrystalCharlie oh cool! i sometimes will say something , pause a tthe moment i hear something and say it. but what is really cool about all this is how they seem to show how certain famiies through diffrent generations are in this seris.
so like at this piont, as you know, we see George and Lorraine, marty's siblings, his grandparetns on his mom's side and aunts and uncles 30 eyars younger, then we see old versions of all of them, we see biff and now his grandon both havin ghtat family gnee of being jerks. and of course now the Wilsons!!! :)
and then even business names LIke Louis diner in 85 is Louis fitness or whatever it is. where the aerobics class that marty waved to o nhis skateboard.
or like Statler motors with diffrent first names in 85 and 55.
the attention to detail in the back to the future movies is epic :) you will see this again i npart 3!! i truly look forward to your reaction to that one too when you get to it.

and at that point in time, the cubs had not won the world series in like 80 years or something like that.
btw. the old man at the clock tower (there was a deleted scene right after this) old biff and him were arguing over the 300 dollars to repari adn clean his car in 1955) so this old man was the black haired mechanic in 1955 (terry). the one he said he could not believe it was 300 collars
Figure Biff disappeared when got back as Lorraine probably killed him after 1985 in New timeline as he was soooo abusive and maybe found out HE killed George
He erased that version of his future so he faded away.

Sadly already lost first actors from the trilogy. In 2016 the actress playing the Sister of Marty dies b of Breast Cancer and in 2021 the blonde girlbin Griffs gang got a fight with ex husband with her boyfriend and was shot in self defense. Sad

Though it’s not in the movie, Mary dies twice in this. He had to of. There’s is no other way Doc could have known to go to the roof to save him. It happened again when Doc saved him from Buff at the tunnel. There’s no other way Doc would have known to be there with the rope of flags to save him at the same end of the tunnel he went in.
