Hey Mani, very inspiring! I’m happy you are doing a little comeback series here on RUclips. I’m doing the same on my side, using your updates as motivation. Do you intend to do some core exercises as well?

Hi Mani! I recently had a daughter so I'm doing very minimalistic workouts when possible. How long and how do you warm up before the first set of pullups?

Congrats on your daughter! Very little warmup, a few static hangs, and the one arm lock offs on a very big edge.

@@ManitheMonkey I have evolved the diet to include fruit which I can now eat no problem after 5 years of carnivore healed my gut. Never tolerated fruit well before. Still not other plants and don't miss them. Also now eat most of my beef whole and raw, lots of high fat dairy and raw eggs too. So 90+% of my food is raw. I call this "Carnicore" since fruit is an option but meat is essential and the center.
I suppose you have seen Dave McLeods carnivore experiments? How about your diet? I think you were kind of similar to my new setup.
My running has alao changed.from long distance to sprinting and hurdling. It is going amazing.
Peace and freedom to you and your family!

Interesting. You eat fruit from the supermarket?
I do actually eat basically everything these days, it's kind of a chaos :P
Lots of meat with a focus on quality (I prefer fatty steaks, freshness is more important than organic, fresh steaks have lots more nutrients than say some random ground meat, you can literally taste it, maybe that's why some carnies have a harder time than others cause they only eat cheap meats? It's crazy how accurately it's all priced in...), raw milk (local farmer), eggs (local farmer), but also veggies and fruit from our garden (mainly apples and berries, zucchini, pumpkins, corn,...) and even grains like bread and noodles (recently discovered making my own buckwheat soba noodles), & potatoes (I think we have a decent local potato farmer).
To me it feels like anything planty from the supermarket is toxic to some degree these days (I react to it), so I avoid plants from the supermarket, and focus on high quality meats there.
I've also seen drastic differences in tolerability in different countries (I can basically eat whatever I want in Switzerland and northern Italy, Greece and to some degree in Croatia, even from the supermarket, maybe they use less or different pesticides than Austria?? I find that very interesting).
I also like to eat fats raw, I will cook a fatty steak very rare or even leave it raw, and yolks are always runny, cream & butter raw if possible although hard to get. I feel they are a lot lighter on the body compared to cooked fats. Basically zero plant oils (aside from a little high quality olive oil from Italy, always raw).
Physiology wise I think I'm still kind of in carb mode, although I feel that even large amounts of raw animal fat do not throw me off the rails, maybe I tolerate them even better than the carbs these days? I think calorie wise it's about 50/50 right now (I'm killing it with the randle cycle XD).
I've seen the McLeod experiments, fascinating. I always wondered if my carnivore experiments were too short (I did 2 months straight when little one 1 was born, but didn't really like how I felt, although I looked great, judging from the videos from that time...).
Maybe you need to go to the point where you're not in ketosis at all anymore, although you eat zero carbs, which can take years. Do you know if you're in ketosis/were in ketosis on zero fruit?
Maybe ketosis is just an energy-emergency state after all. Seems like long term even ketogenic diets do not produce lots of ketones anymore, and fats are burned mainly via beta oxidation. All very interesting. Curious what you think (:
      Cheers & stay strong!
