Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) will always have a place in my heart. In the 1980's, in college, my friend had to go to ten different video rental stores to find it to play at a christmas party and I was loving it, but then a couple people got mad and said we had to stop it and I never got to see the ending for decades. They wouldn't even tolerate some of us watching it in one room while they were in another room, two wet blankets ruined it for everyone. Theaters refused to screen it. It was so hard to find!

    7) Dark Night of the Scarecrow 1981
    8) Halloween 2 (1981)

Rob Zombie's Halloween is a tremendous gut punch, worthy of All Year Round. Watched it a couple of months ago; never gets old for me 🎃

I watched "Candy Corn" for the first time this year, an okay lower budget movie that has a nice dark atmosphere, haunting score but some of the writing and acting.... Middle of the road for me but I think Rob Zombie fans would also like the vibes of this one.

Missing from this list: Night of the Demon, and possibly the remake (not sure if the remake takes place on Halloween, but the original does), and Idle Hands. There are probably others missing, but these are my immediate thoughts.

Definitely need to add night of the demons. Both the original and remake. You could also add hell night from the '80s starring Linda Blair. I'd also say Pumpkinhead since pumpkin is synonymous with Halloween 🎃
