This is so sad....this makes me cry every time I watch it. Snape seriously died for Harry's sake. Because he was her son. It is just so depressing that she will never know all of the things that he did BECAUSE he loved her so much. I think that would've made her choose Snape over James any day.
Severus snape was a truely brave man and did what many of us couldn't. And even though he is just fictional, stories which have life through them are often heartbreaking. Thank you for posting this video ;A; now im off to go dry my tears~
Everyone has to know that Snape used to hate Muggle-Born because his father was a Muggle and used to beat his wife and insult Severus for being magical. (we don't know if he armed Severus in and physical way)
Gosh..i so love severus snape..this is just so heartbreaking..yet very endearing..SNape really managed to be like a sort of villain at the start yet he was actually an unbeknownst heroin of the story...he's a brave man indeed..
You forget that James had it a lot easier than Snape. He was popular and had a bunch of friends and most likely parents who loved him. Snape had neither of that, yet all he really wanted was acceptance, which he got most of by the death eaters. Or so he thought. James on the other hand had no reason to be an asshole to begin with - that he changed was really only the lowest you could expect of him. While with Snape it is a surprise he changed at all, considering what he went through.
Don't care what people say about the ending, it was beautiful. Especially knowing that Harry gives Snape the same respect that he has towards his dad, Dumbledore, and most of the father figures.
I can understand why people want to defend Severus but the fact is he chose his path and Lily chose hers. I still like Snape but you can't deny that he made mistakes. And to the people who hate Dumbledore, he tried his best to protect Lily and James but even he couldn't do it and he's supposed to be the greatest sorcerer in the world. He made a mistake and he's regretting it.
Severus' Story is really sad and once i thought he was a bad guy... but reading the last book i liked him because i finally understood... it's sad that he chose to be a Death Eater,then the wrong prophecy... he asked Dumbledore for help... everything that happened... till his death... i can't be so insensitive to that... look at me he told Harry... the green eyes met the black... X°°° so sad and then so nice... and Albus Severus and Harry good father and good son! Cool video! My favourite one!

To be honest I started crying when I was watching this...I love this video. It made me so sad that Snape died. I'm gonna start balling like a baby when Snape dies in the movie. I haven't read the books, but I know it's coming. Awesome video!

lily seems pretty innocent to me, snape called her a mudblood. even if he was attracted to her, and had feelings for her, he still looked down on her in a way. she had every right to ditch him i still love this video, its beautiful. things probably wouldve worked out if they had met after he matured as a person (and if she hadnt met and married james first)

Wow. I've never been really a fond of the love story between Sev and Lily but these made me throat strangled especially the scene with the Mirror of Erised and Dumbledore. Sev's such a bishounen here :))
Ah, Snape. Harry is the kid born from the woman he loves, but the man he hates. Kind of like the Romeo and Juliet story, "My only love born from my only hate..."

I don't know about you guys, but I always really liked Snape and had hoped the whole time that he would really be a good guy. I'm a fan well-rounded, mysterious characters. I love how J.K. writes characters that seem flat at first, but are so multifaceted and human. I find it sad to see that the latest generation of children-teen authors do not prize this and try to make their characters more than what they seem to be.

I may not have understood any of the lyrics but that didn't stop the tears from streaming down my face.
That made me so sad. T_T Snape was one of my favorite characters, but at least Harry stood up for Snape and named his son after him.
This made me cry. Its so sad that something can be so heart-wrenching.
