PINE TREE WOODCARVING - Relief Wood Carving A Simple Pine Tree
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 24 апр 2021
- Relief wood carving a simple pine tree! I used traditional chisels/gouges and a Dremel for the details. This pine tree woodcarving was hand carved out of white pine wood and took me around 10 hours to complete. I hope you all enjoy this wildlife relief carving time lapse.

Very talented work. Thank you for sharing.
I appreciate it, thanks for watching!
Now that is a pine tree carving!!! Excellent Job my man!!!
thanks
The undercuts and rocking cuts make it pop. You may want to try some Schaaf tools. Not too bad for the money. They are not as good as Pfeil, but they work. Thanks for sharing.
I do have some schaaf tools they are good gouges.
Your carvings are so awesome . The depth of your carving realistic !!!
Thanks!
Awesome job ! Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful! It looks great! I appreciate your sharing this, it's given me some ideas for a project I am working on.

Thank you!
Nice work

Thanks, that's great! I'm glad my videos help you in your carvings as well.
Brilliant work, you have nice fine grain pine there. In UK, our pine iis fast grown & very coarser grain. Do you use dry/seasoned pine or do you soak it before hand with water or oil to stop splitting & splintering out ?
I buy my wood from a local sawmill that kiln dries their wood.
I live in a small apartment but my dream is to get a place were i can set up a hobby workshop for projects like this. Im sure i will return to your channel for learning and inspiration many times.
That's great, I'm glad to hear that. I hope you get your hobby shop one day. I'm still working on mine. It seems to be a never ending process. lol.
Very nice job looking very good!!! 👌💯👍
Which brand en models of
Palm gouges do you use?
Thanks. Pfeil
Your approach to carving is amazing. I do power carving but you have changed my mind on hand chiseling. Amazing work. Do you have another site or a video of the chisels you use and any tips on sharpening and honing. That is so intimidating to me. Can't wait to see your other pieces in the future.
Thanks! I don’t have another site but I’m hoping to add some videos that cover some of that stuff in the future!
Awesome tree. Where did you learn to carve?
Thanks, I learned myself.
Do you use a respirator or something for the dust? If so what kind?
I use a filtered mask I got on amazon called an RZ mask.
Just found your channel. Do you ever do carvings in real time as a tutorial? How did you secure the piece of wood to the table? Also, what are the measurements of the wood? Beautiful work!
Thanks! I plan to do full length carving videos in the future. The table is custom that I made myself. It’s a diy vise that pinches the piece. I’m not sure the size of the wood, I think it’s maybe 10” x 14”
Any recommendations on dremel bits?
Kutzall have great quality bits and have a good variety.
Hello, what kind of wood do you use?
it white pine. Sorry, I just went back to the video and you mentioned it. Great job! it's gorgeous!
Thanks!
