Peyton: This is my new favorite book! The Hunger Games: 🥲 Edit 9 months later: My friend bought the trilogy for me… and um, I haven’t read a book this fast since The Hunger Games either. WOW. We have the same taste, so idk why I don’t listen to you more often.
Peyton you're not the only one who is obsessed with this book. I loved that book. I think more people need to read this. One of us is Lying is nothing in front of this book
Already had this book in my tbr. HOWEVERRRR, hearing you talk about this book in such a positive way somehow made me buy the book. Your videos are dangerous to my bank account girl.
I read this book last January for my book club and fell in love with it! Luckily, the sequel came out a couple of months later and that one is even better! It was my favourite book for 2020 and probably one of my faves of all time!
If you haven't read Kara Thomas, definitely pick her up. The Darkest Corners if my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of them. And for a similar soap factor, try People Like Us by Dana Mele. And if you weren't approved on NetGalley yet for The Ivies let me know--I will nudge my publicist! (I'm definitely a read alike to Good Girl's Guide)
Thank you so much for those recommendations! I’m so excited to read more books like this one that’s for sure. I’m pretty sure I’m still pending on netgalley for the Ivies so that would be awesome if you could help me out! 😊 thank you! Let me know what info you need to give your publicist
This book is so good! I remember picking it up, because it sounded okay without expecting anything. And next thing I knew, I finished this book in more or less one setting, because it was so amazing and I couldn't stop reading it. I can't wait to read the next book but sadly my library doesn't have it yet...
I feel the same way about this book. Definitely my favourite book of 2020. The US edition of Good Girl, Bad Blood comes out in March of this year, and the author announced earlier today that there will only be three books apparently.
I’ve been deciding which to read next because I just finished One of Us is Lying and One of Us is Next...I think you’ve convinced me to read this next!
it’s so amazing when you find a book that gives you that RUSH and excitement like you never want to put it down 😆 and they just 📈 are instant all-time favs. I always get scared that I’ll ‘run out’ of them one day 😅
I randomly got this book from our local food store because there was a really good offer and a few weeks later I spent the whole afternoon reading it because I COULD NOT put it down!! definitely recommend to anyone who’s interested
oh my goodness i bought this book about 2 weeks ago and i haven’t started reading it yet, then i saw this video and was like i’m going to start it! two days later and i have now finished it and i LOVED IT‼️so good omg i honestly don’t know if i would have started reading it if it wasn’t for this video so thank you!! i’m very excited to read the sequel
Went back to this video just to comment that I just finished this book and I have to thank you for recommending this. It's so good! Kept me guessing the whole time.
YESSS PEYTON! I JUST FINISHED THE BOOK AND OMG I SWEAR! This book was just AMAZING! Definitely a new favorite of mine too! And I didn't know it was a four book series! Time to wait around for them to come out lol! Love you girl for always updating me!♥️✨
I read this last summer and loved it too! Definitely one of the best YA thrillers out right now! I'm happy you found a new favorite book 💖 Another good YA thriller is This is Our Story by Ashley Elston, and Home Before Dark by Riley Sager is a good adult one!
Hello. Just finished the book last few days. I would say that I can relate to you, it took my life away as well. Like right now I can't still move on and still shocked asf. Now I am reading the sequel of it.
I love Forensic science and I am doing a lot of classes with it in school and this book is exactly what I love ❤️ so I can’t wait to read this! Thank you for the recommendation!!!!!
It’s so good! I must say I think it’s weird that they changed the details to make it an American town instead of an English town? I wonder if it makes it any different at all. Have you seen the uk cover? Could not believe that it’s her debut, and that she’s so young, she’s so good😍 Also Holly said on Instagram today that it’s a trilogy, and the title for the last book is being revealed on Thursday 😋
i love seeing you get so excited over this book lmaoo i felt the same way about the last PLL episode...wish I could erase it from my mind. I cant remember if you have read Sadie or not...but if you havent, then I definitely recommend that one.
Heyyy, I read this book agesss ago and I’ll just tell you know, the second book is even better (if that’s even possible😂) and I love this book soooo much. How good is the movie going to be ?!?! They got screen rights a couple of months ago. Do you have anymore recommendations that are similar to this? xx
I love your reviews!! They are so detailed and elaborate. I am not much of a thriller person but you really convinced me to buy this book!! Thanks for a great review❤️
I hope to finish a few books this week before January ends as I haven't had a good start to the year with my dad being very poorly (still is and it's not covid) but I want to focus on finishing a few books and then make sure that February is a good reading month 💜💜💜💜
I just purchased this book yesterday and so excited to read it!!!! I highly recommend Little Monsters by Kara Thomas (audio to this is so good too), Lock Every Door by Riley Sager, and The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware. Also check out Gabbyreads here on RUclips. She has awesome thriller recs ☺️
Read this recently and it is awesome read for me.. I would recommend you read THE SILENT PATIENT.. It's a very good read too.. I bet you will love it.. 😊
Yea I’m so excited I’m guessing the book before I watch, maybe it’s one last stop? I was wrong 😗 but I’ll definitely be reading it cause when has Peyton ever recommended a bad book? Never
@@PeytonReads yes it’s so bad for me I’m not comfortable with talking about my feelings in person especially not to my family to I’ll rather bottle it up until it gets so overwhelming 😩
Megan's story... Writers and authors, let me briefly tell you Megan's story. She has always dreamed of one day being a well-known and recognized author. To do so, she sacrificed a lot to write her book, which was very dear to her heart. But for a while, she had been struggling to make it known and sell it. She felt like she was drowning and a great anguish, that of her future as an author was hugging her. The fear of never being a recognized author never ceased to overwhelm her. She was frustrated because all her efforts as a writer were not yet recognized and valued as they should be. She was angry that so many mediocre books were known and read, but not yet her own (despite the richness of its content: the important message it conveys or the beautiful story it tells). The day she learned that one of her former classmates had become the author of a best-selling book, she was really shocked by his tardiness. From then on, the bubble burst, and that was the existential crisis for her! She really wanted to make her book known, and to sell it grandiose. Because, she always imagines herself to be a famous writer one day. And finally, everything became possible for her, the day she came across this article entitled : 10 Tools Authors Can't Live Without : bestseller-destination.kneo.me/page/10-Tools-Authors-Cant-Live-Without
I hate to say this but I honestly didn't like this book. Literally everyone in this town except for the two main characters are AWFUL people. And I get that's the point, but I'm someone who is more invested in characters than plot. And when more and more awful things were exposed about the victim, it made me not care about her. It honestly made me kinda glad she was dead - or at least not sad that she was. I'm glad you liked it but it definitely wasn't for me. Also, it made me super uncomfy because of the age difference. The main female was still in high school and the main male was an adult. Maybe I'll try it again one day but I'm not rushing to do so.
