That item of furniture is what I would call a wardrobe.
It is a pretty room for sure! I know the room doubles as a guest room, so you do not want it be too childish, but maybe let Jamison pick out a couple of items for his room that reflect his interests, so he feels like it is Jamison’s room!

You really have a great eye for decorating. The color scheme is perfect. I personally don’t like the headboard at all for him. I know our thrift stores have many to chose from that would may be smaller or something you can repaint. I love how handy you are with tools as well!

I’d use a different headboard - lower and not so plush looking - it really isn’t working for a boys room - also to big - same with the blue plush pillows - save those for the guests.
Amy- quick question? For your cape dresses made from knit material vs Tropical Breeze Polycotton, do you make any changes to your pattern at all?

The room is beautiful, to be sure, but it feels a bit impersonal. Where’s Jamison in the room? It needs some Jamison personality in there. Some little boy life and personality.😃
