This is always one of my favorite videos! I love watching you get your porch and entry all spruced up with the family. It always looks so fresh and beautiful! Love everything! The black mulch really looks nice against the brick and the lighter walkway and your new spiked solar lights look great. I absolutely love the hanging solar lanterns in each side of the steps. Extending your bed out a bit further turned out well and everyone looked like they enjoyed that project and the planting. All of your plants look healthy and so pretty all potted up. I’ve always had good luck with Lowe’s, too. The porch itself looks so inviting and I can see how enjoyable it must be to sit out there and talk with your hubby while the kids run and play on the lawn. And that wreath is simply gorgeous! Much prettier than most I’ve seen. I’ve actually been having some difficulty finding one I love this year without spending an arm and a leg. Wish I had your eye and design ability - I’m simply hopeless at things like wreath making and mine are pretty generally complete disasters! Yours is perfect and it’s beautiful just as it is without any bow. I prefer that look myself, especially on my front door. I’m just trying to keep up with pulling weeds this spring! I planted cosmos and bright pink petunias as well as some zinnias. We use black mulch as well and I love how fresh and clean it makes the yard look.

I have started attending a conservative Mennonite church lately and everyone is very welcoming... Some have even offered me to come to their home for a meal. Glad to have found a New Testament church near me.
Is that your husband? If so, are the men allowed to wear “ normal” or “ regular” clothing while the woman must dress more conservatively? I hope that’s not an offensive question, I’m just curious. 😊
Mennonite men dress plain, like Mennonite women do. Women stand out, because most Western women do not dress modest. Most Mennonite men wear the male equivalent which is jeans and a plain colored t-shirt or plaid/flannel. Wearing the bonnet or head covering as Mennonite Women do comes from the Apostle Paul in the Bible.
