That bed rocking off the ground can give you that “pucker feeling😁”. Those days you’ve got a lot to do and you’re pulled in two different directions to keep both going are aggravating when you feel like you didn’t get as much accomplished as you thought you should. They’ll always be days like that but, I think you handled it well. Great job Brandon. Thanks for sharing with us.
Looks like you got some good dirt to work with at least. Has the Hydrema ever gone all the way over? That one time there was about as close as I'd like it. If it wasn't for the 16 hour drive, I would run over there and be at one location for you so you and the Landscape Architect don't get too sideways with each other on that job. That Hydrema really earns it pay on a job like that. Keep up the good work and everything always works out in the end.
It was really nice dirt. No that was as close to going over as it’s ever been lol! I appreciate that! They showed up and it all went good they got almost everything planted in a day. The hydrema has been fantastic for this job.
Brandon the way the truck gets light weight on left side when you dump the dirt will cause the average person to soil there drawers!!! 😂🤣 Great work, thanks for sharing!
Have you ever started the day off by climbing in the bed of the Hydrema and spraying it with some PAM cooking spray? I have heard it is pretty good at making things non-stick. ; ) That is some deep dirt, what they taught me in college was that plants will do better if you plant them directly into native soil, otherwise the roots will take the easier path for growth in the lighter soil. What they spec'd out for here is effectively a very large flower pot, which will work fine as long as it isn't very large trees or some such in it. Sometimes I just do what the customer asks me to do and do not insist on how I feel it should be done; If that is what you want, I certainly can do it for you. Would you be able to share with us what this looks like once they are done planting it?
I should probably try doing something like that lol! That’s what I’ve always thought too. I thought they should be planted in the native soil too but the landscape architecture thought differently and told the customer that’s what it needed so that’s what we did. Waste of a lot of good dirt if you ask me but more money I guess. Appreciate you watching
Woah Nellie, she's getting a little squirrelly there bossman. Lol. Question about the truck: when you rotate the bed, does it automatically center itself to the right spot so you can lower it?
I don't know how it felt in the cab, but it sure looked to us like you were on the verge of tipping there a couple times. And all to add 10 feet deep of topsoil, LOL. So how much of that washed away when it rained? And just think, instead of her breathing down your neck, if that landscaping "architect" had been out there with a rake, just imagine how much easier and faster it all would have gone.............
It was a little tippy for sure. Surprisingly a lot of it stayed so I was happy about that. 🤣 no kidding she would have loved that. Appreciate you guys watching
Thats a lot of topsoil! Im glad you were able to keep the hydrema on its tires and prevent it from rolling over... thanks for sharing!👍
lol yeah it got a bit tipsy 😁 Appreciate you watching

Yes it will lol! That’s the closest it’s ever been to tipping. That is definitely true it wears you out mentally. Appreciate you watching
Top dog with topsoil!
Thanks man!
From late fall to late winter there is never enough daylight to accomplish what you want each day. But you made quite a bit of progress. Good job.
That’s for sure. That’s the worst part about winter short days. Thank you!
I just hope you're working by the hour!
Yeah I didn’t give them a price. It is what it is on this one and they understand that
Looking good! Someone must have money to burn. I really kind of like that house even though I'm not the biggest fan of the mid-century modern style.
Thank you! They must cause this is crazy lol! It’s definitely a unique house
That's a heck of a lot of dirt!
Yes it is lol

The GOAT! How much did you charge and how long did it take you?
I think it was $28k for the whole job and maybe a week and a half

Yes it was 🤣 little tippy. You have to get it lined back up before it will let the bed go back down.
13:30 Geez 😶
Little tippy 🤣
Sorry to hear about your neck! HAHAHA!
🤣🤣 no kidding
Do you think the topsoil is deep enough?
I think it’s plenty deep hopefully the landscaper will lol
