  • Finishing with the topsoil. I got the big cut full of topsoil and ready for the landscapers to show up. It got a little tight between to the two driveways but the Hydrema made it easy to place the last of the dirt. I was able to track it in and the get the valve boxes set. The landscapers should be here tomorrow to start planting. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #LandscapePrep

    For what should have been a very simple, straightforward job, this one would be a pain in the butt due to someone's lack of planning. Keep up the good work brother.

    It would have been nice if you could have stockpiled the topsoil in place before they laid the concrete. Doncha think?

    Really tight quarters but well done - and for some reason we always enjoy watching you blowing stuff off the driveways, etc. I know you've mentioned it before, but does that driveway really look as bad as the camera makes it look? It's terrible - espeically for $250K. BTW, those were very nice camera angles - especially in the beginning - feels like a professional production, so thank you! For a minute we thought we saw the landscape "Lady" with the yellow hair, but then we realized what it was....🤣

    I agree with you about not needing 30" of topsoil along the wall but from my experience these "Landscape Architects" seem to hold some mystical power over the owners. If they don't get what they want they'll tell them everything is going to die. So you probably are going to be adding topsoil. It's stupid but I've lost those battles before when other "Experts" show up on a job. I've always felt like it was a slight on my expertise but what are you going to do. It looked like you were scooping up eggs working around the driveway in the excavator. Where the dumped topsoil is around back, don't you have to get many loads of fill back there? Seemed like you had as much to do behind the house as almost anything you've done so far there to make it into a backyard.

    • @eliteearthworksllc
      @eliteearthworksllc  6 дней назад

      That’s exactly how she put it. If it didn’t get 30” of topsoil she couldn’t guarantee her shrubs so the homeowner said do what she wants. Crazy to me. Yeah I had a fair amount to do behind the house as well. It’s wild how some of these customers will believe anything the architects say or want
