How are you keeping ?
I was quite tired when filming this video, drifting off every now and then. The out-takes were quite funny and yes I know the sound could have been better, but hey, it’s all a learning curve.
This video is of me getting my hair flat ironed:

Welcome to Butterscotch ASMR
We all have our own personal and often magical story of how we first encountered ASMR, an acronym coined by Jennifer Allen which stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.
The delicate sounds of softly spoken whispers and the sensations from receiving personal attention are but two examples of ASMR Triggers.
While perhaps a little tricky to describe, the terms “Head Tingles”, “Head Rush” and “Brain Orgasm” often crop up when explaining the ASMR phenomenon.
Everyone is different, beautifully unique, so what may “Trigger The Tingles” for others, may not work with you, but to an extent, that is the beauty of ASMR as we can all be affected by different triggers.
I wonder what triggers work best for you? Please feel free to express in the comments section.

I disagree with the people who say this is too fast. It's actually perfect. I experience the BEST asmr when things are natural like you have done in this video. All of these asmr people mess up when they start doing things in slow motion. This is a great video
Not slow motion. She's passing the flat iron down her hair too fast. That's why it's still not straight after all those passes.

All these people are just hating, her hair type is different it’s not going to flat iron in one pass, this was just for relaxation not a freaking tutorial people. If you wanna see a tutorial and “perfect proper” flat ironing video, look it up instead of tearing this young lady down by saying “her technique is trash” because that’s just rude and it’s actually unnecessary and childish. Better yourselves
I love it!! It's perfect! Reminds me of summer mornings when I would crawl into my momma's bed and listen to her get ready for work.
I could never fall asleep like this when my mom straightened my hair, I would be too nervous she’d burn my scalp per usual 😩

Couldn’t enjoy because she didn’t chase the flat iron with the come, she did like 7 passes on the hair and then bumped the ends like everyone momma did for picture day in elementary school 😒😑☠️

Omg I said the same thing and I was like turn the heat up...heat is gonna damage the hair and ways atleast let it be worth it and it be cute afterwards 😭😭

No everyone’s mom I didn’t have a mom I grew up with it, and I just got my hair braided in the little berets it was like box braids but the kid edition so yeah not everyone’s mom.

U do not go thru the hair with the flat iron noted that one time or 2 because u might damage her hair and it’s probably damage because u went thru it to many times

But for real though this took me back to first Saturdays and sitting by the stove watching Soul Train and hissing from the oil popping on the straightening comb.

I also want to add that the cheap straightener isn't helping. I love the opening but the videos are disappointing.

The licensed cosmetologist in me is a little triggered by this method but to each their own lol
Just curious, but what was done wrong? I've never curled or straightened my hair in my life so I have no idea about these things.
Good thing it wasn't really wasn't on. 😳 (Too many passes for that thing to really be turned on lol)

This is a terrible technique you aren’t even doing it good why would you straighten her hair if it’s still curly
Yes, thought the same thing. Blow it out first, dried hair of course, then flat ironed it. Also hair looks dry, when wet, add leave in conditioner, sit under drier, then blow it straight, then flat ironed, no oil added while flat ironing, "cooks" the hair. Cheers.
