I absolutely love the energy of young women with grandma / aunty hobbies. knitting ASMR is what I got when a kid lying beside my nana on the sofa as she knitted xx
I have a question, why is it considered granny hobbies? It's a type of crafts and it's very relaxing. I'm not trying to be rude sorry if I sound rude I can never control my tone of voice
@@remy9744 I think they’re thought of as “granny” hobbies because historically the older women performed these fiber arts out of necessity, since their families needed clothes. Fiber arts/crafts were not something men did as they had hard labor jobs and the younger women probably knew how to do them but were often busy caring for the house and children. The older women could not handle as much hard labor and it was a good social activity as you could work on it and talk with others.
@@alittlebitlonger1995 yes I know but my wish is that is not just called granny crafts, I would like to have my hobbies and craft in peace without being called an old lady
@@remy9744 you asked why they’re called granny hobbies and I answered. Honestly I don’t find the term offensive or upsetting so I apologize that you find this to be an upsetting term.
It's hypnotizing how fast you can knit! When I was around 13 my mom taught me how to knit and I loved it!! Although she had to fix when I missed one or two 😅❤
I was sitting in my therapist’s waiting room and I saw an old woman doing this while wrapped around in a blanket, it was so peaceful I almost forgot why I was there lmao
I love watching people knit or crochet, especially those who are quick at it. The way their hands and fingers move is like magic, not to mention the sound that the needles make as they click. I love it! This was very relaxing and now I want to knit, even though I'm not very good at it. Also, I love how your nails match the yarn color, very nice ^_^
Makes me think of when my great grandma was still alive, every time she visited as I grew up at my mum's she was knitting, knitting, knitting. About the same speed as you. It would always make me sleepy listening to the rhythm
Im 14 (started when I was 13) when I started to knit/crochet (I'm trying both). I've felt unmotivated to continue to try because I haven't gotten a good flow of it yet, but this video is inspiring me to start try again!
I got into knitting recently as a coping mechanism, and it's a surprising hobby. I never thought I'd get into it, but I love it, even though I'm just starting out. I'm using this as background noise, because I don't think Insane Clown Posse is the best late night knitting music lol
I just turned 18 last month and i was taught to knit around 10 years ago. I gave it up and turned to cross stitch but now I’m inspired to practise again as well as learn crochet. It’s so relaxing and mesmerising. New subscriber 💌

I know this video was awhile back, but wow! The sounds remind me if when my grandmother would knit in her rocker. I would fall asleep in my beanbag chair right in front of her on the floor. Lol. Thank you for this.
Finally!! I’ve been looking for a really good relaxing, tingly knitting video but none were good enough for me until I found you! The sound of the needles tapping against each other, your pretty nails scratching the fabric: 💕💕💕😴😴😴 thank you
Was so happy to see this video.....knitting sounds are one of my earliest triggers!!!! Now I love to knit....and this is a very relaxing video for me!! Thank you
That's so lovely, thank you! I love knitting too, there will be a new video coming up very soon as I've started a new knitting project for winter. Such a great hobby 😊🖤☕️🧶
