Installing and Testing the Battery Charging System of your Mercury Outboard - OOW Outdoors

This video shows the in depth process of how I added stater magnetic pickup to my 9.9 murcury outboard and then used a generic $9 2 stage/phase rectifier/regulator to convert the power from AC to DC. I tested the output and finally wired it to the battery.
you will need to look up your own stater/altanator magneto coil pick ups for your engine. I bought mines used for $50 shipped from ebay.
