Craftsman YT3000 Riding Mower Steering & Oil leak Fix

In this video I replace both tie rods and one drag link to tighten up the steering on this Craftsman YT 3000 lawn mower. Also we fix a leaking valve cover gasket and replace the deck belt.

Silicone is the best if you follow instructions and clean surfaces good 😊😊😊
On my personal riding mower I make my gasket out of gasket material and thicker than normal 😮

That steering gear is called the "sector gear", as in "sector and pinion".

Yes it is also called that. There are many names for the same part in the the parts industry. Half moon gear is also a name for it.
