Another great video 👍 I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It's so challenging to grow here. Absolutely nothing is easy to grow due to the cold cold climate and drastic weather changes here. I grow in lots of containers. I transplant into a raised bed covered in greenhouse plastic. I also grow straight from seed in my raised bed. Just last week it was 70's here in the mountains and then this weekend it's trying to snow again. I love to garden and even more love growing my own food. I like me knowing what it is I'm actually eating. No GMO or harsh not necessary chemicals in my salads! I use heirloom everything to so there will be a next year. People up here say it's next to impossible to grow herbs vegetables and fruits. If I can do it and I'm no expert, anyone can do it. I'm getting good results with my garden. Brother you share some awesome 👊💪 tips on here and sometimes as I get older I forget those little things. That tip on mulch and helping to ease drastic temperature changes it does work. I use mulch and I use it in my raised bed to help curve those cold nights and allow my plants a fighting chance to live and grow. Up where I am I've only got pine needles and left over pine cones from the squirrels eating the pine nuts from them to mulch. It all I have for right now I'm adding here and there when I can occasionally get grass clippings or leaves. In my area it's just not readily available to me. Someone told me using pine needles would harm my garden but I haven't seen it harm anything yet?. If the temps drop. When my raised bed is covered it may freeze the mulch on top over my seedlings but it doesn't reach down and freeze the soil or the seedlings by mulching everything. I may even get a leaf on the biggest plants froze here or there but the roots don't freeze. They make a quick come back. As for my bucket garden I have tomatoes growing in buckets right now and they have done good with mulch and if I know the temps are gonna dip below freezing I cover them or simply bring them inside. Thanks for the morning coffee update and thank you for sharing ❤️👍 I look forward to seeing you again. God bless and have a great day.

Very nice! Imagine the business a catering company would generate if they grew their own ingredients? True farm-to-table? Amazing!
Love love love this video! Clear instructions and very informative. I think I can do this now!
Thanks so much Kelly! And not just peppers! Tomatoes, strawberries, zucchinis, etc etc... It's limitless!

Would you please do a video on growing bell peppers indoors using a grow light?
For sure! It can be tricky as indoor Peppers are soooo prone to aphids....but I plan on it this year. I even have 6 plants set aside for it! :-)
Thanks! Very helpful video! You do such a good job of explaining. As a former teacher of English composition, I’d definitely give you an A+ on this “process paper” b/c you have such a good sense of audience awareness, explaining clearly, even if there were only audio & no video.
Thanks Vivian! Thanks so much for the kind words and support! Made my day!
