Ok. A few things that I know about miss Lainey Wilson. She grew up in a tiny town in NE Louisiana and I can tell you that the accent is very authentic. My wife went to the same high school that she did and my wife just went to a high school reunion earlier this year. Tiny tiny class reunion. I mean if you don’t know everyone you just didn’t go to school. My wife’s accent is very thick as well. One time my wife and I were in the kitchen and she was telling me something. After about the third time of her repeating herself because I couldn’t understand her, I just asked her to text me because I can understand that much better. Lainey also stays true to her roots. She can still pick out my wife’s daughter in the crowd at a concert as they were childhood friends. We’re very happy that we have this amazing artist starting to really bloom and come into her own.
Lainey sounds a little like Shania Twain to me and she definitely has that old school country sound. It's funny that this video is about moonshine because I just picked up a quart of moonshine and a quart of peach brandy last week. North Carolina is famous, or infamous, for it's moonshine and there is nothing like a good swig of peach brandy or shine to take the nip out of a winter's night. 🥴😂🙌✌️
Meaning wit your daughter, it is good to see you in such a good place. My only is my daughter but have not allowed myself to be in her life at all. Three tours in Iraq with Marine in Corps left me broken and i wanted the smell of death to not be something she ever knew before we started our relationship. She just graduated highschool and im still waiting.
Watermelon moonshine is pretty good, but I have a jar of apple pie moonshine. It’s awesome. Are used to have a jar of peach moonshine of actual peach quarters in it, but is long gone
I still have my grams recipe for peach shine and my grandfathers for corn whiskey. I just posted a pic of him next to his still in the community section of the page.
Love Lainey such a great voice. If you like her voice take a listen Ashley McBryde beautiful natural twang to her voice. Love her songs Bonfire at Tina’s “ and “Bible and a 44”
So does his daughter no longer do reaction videos with him? I haven’t been on there channel in a year & just noticed it wasn’t his daughter in the video
Sounds very, VERY similar to the song, That’s what I love about Sunday by Craig Morgan. Similar chords and an almost identical cadence during the chorus. Seems like a “ripoff” to me.
I’ve been sitting here trying to figure what song it sounds like. I think you got it. The amazing thing is I do not listen to country at all but must’ve heard the Morgan song somewhere and that melody stuck with me so much that I knew moonshine sounded like something.
I like Lainey Wilson but this song doesn't work for me. I am a fourth generation moonshiner, and in my opinion Ole Smokey Moonshine is NOT moonshine. It's like cookie cutter pop country pandering to a group of wanna be country folks. My moonshine was so popular a few years ago around the time Ole Smokey first opened they got word of it somehow and sent me an email with a job offer or at least wanting my recipe. I didn't even bother answering the email.

Her sound and the song reminds me of Deana Carters Strawberry Wine
Agreed
Deanna Carter's Strawberry Wine is about James Denton that was on Desperate Housewives and the Good Witch. They had a fling when they were younger.
Not even close
@@JuarezDerrick lol, yeah ok.
Basically same song
Need to listen to Lainey Wilson. Heart Like A Truck
Im so glad I got ro see her live with Hardy. She dont have to fake country she is country. Nortwest Louisiana stand up!!

Watermelon Moonshine I love this music video and it's a awesome some.
She also has a great duet with Jelly Roll of Save Me you should check out. (Live version)

She reminds me of Deana Carter. A country singer from the 90's.
She was in a few episodes of the most recent season of 'Yellowstone'.
Had to look up "boho". Never heard that one before. I'm pretty sure she has her own line of "bellbottom country" clothes.
this song reminds me a lot of the song "Strawberry Wine" from Deanna Carter. Same premise and close to the same vocal styling.
Very similar
I like Lainey, Caylee Hammock and Ashley McBryde all for different reasons. Would love to see a reaction to Ashley making her Opry Debut.

To get the other part of Laynie, you need to listen to grease and do it live. It is awesome.
Very awsome reaction loved it
She reminds me of a dialed-back Gretchen Wilson. Great reaction!
A little bit... I can hear that.

@@flickeringboxofficial I don’t know about where you’re at but here in Tennessee you come buy moonshine at the liquor store
@@flickeringboxofficial and I saw the picture of him on your video

Reminds me of Jennifer Nettles from SUGARLAND❤
She gives me a Tonya Tucker Vibe
My great grandfather use to keep his moonshine cold by putting it in branch
Dolly and Jennifer Nettles mixed
Sort of reminiscent of Deanna Carter. Fun song.
That's what I just posted. Lol
Could y’all please react to “A Rock” by Hardy? I know Burch would love it and no F words in that one 😂
The tune of the song sounds like PaintvMe A Birmingham by Tracy Lawrence
There's a little bit of Dolly in her voice.
She sings in dodge commercial tractor suply commercial and on the hit show Yellowstone I think she's from Kansas
Dont forget me....got me.
Maybe a little like Lee Ann Womack?
That's what I was going to say.
Lainey Wilson defiantly not the kind of girl to break a mix tape , but I'm sure she broke a bunch of hearts ...
Would love to hear Burch react to Chris stapleton "White Horse".
The vocal melody in my opinion is identical to the song what I love about Sunday by Craig Morgan
Then again, I live in Tennessee lol
Jennifer Nettles

Reminds me of mindy mccready
Her voice is the cross of miley cyrus and dolly parton
I'm inviting mid-fifties and I've never seen this video! Guess I stayed on the heavy metal side.....
If this is typical of her music, it's more pop than country. Southern drawl doesn't make a song country.
Is it me or does lainey sound like dolly?

Craig Morgan is the greatest musical storyteller ever. Change my mind.
