CROCHET BEAUTIFUL TEXTURED SHELLS

IN THIS VIDEO I SHOW YOU HOW TO CROCHET BEAUTIFUL TEXTURED SHELLS. THE TEXTURE IS CREATED WITH A COMBINATION OF SHELLS, V STITCHES, CHAINS AND SC. I ALSO DEMONSTRATE HOW TO ENSURE THE V STITCHES, WORKED ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE WORK, SIT IN THE CENTRE OF THE SC'S ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE WORK, THIS IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT AND NOT THAT NOTICEABLE BUT IT DOES ADD A LITTLE EXTRA SOMETHING TO THE OVERALL PATTERN.
THE PATTERN IS WORKED IN ANY MULTIPLE OF 8 PLUS 2. FOR THE SAMPLE, IN THE TUTORIAL, I START WITH 26 CHAINS.
YOU CAN USE ANY YARN AND CORRESPONDING HOOK SIZE YOU LIKE.
IN THE VIDEO I AM USING RICO DK COTTON WITH A 3.5MM HOOK.
THE PROJECT I SHOW AT THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO IS A CUSHION FOR MY MUM, WHEN IT IS FINISHED I WILL DO A VIDEO TO SHOW YOU. HAPPY CROCHETING😊

Rows 2 to 5 form the pattern repeat. Once you have completed row 5 start at row 2 again.
