- Join me an epic quest to see if it is possible to spend $100 on the best street food in the Philippines, or as I like to call it, "Operation: Stomach Satisfaction!"
Will we hit the jackpot and discover the tastiest treats known to man? Or will we end up blowing our budget and having to adopt 100 Filipinos to hit our target? Who knows, but one thing's for sure, we're in for a wild ride full of belly laughs and food comas!

I love how Ali was finishing his food. that's actually one value Filipinos have. Filipino culture sees not finishing their food translates to being ungrateful for having something to eat and having lots of left over, and we know there are millions of people surviving everyday just trying to look for something to eat. commend Ali for that, even giving away some of his left overs just to not let the food go to waste :)
one more thing, keeping the change to the vendors may not seem big to some viewers of the channel but for the vendors themselves its a lot.

Lumpiang Shanghai is actually one of my most favorite Filipino food ever.

Any cooked or processed food on the streets is concerning. If people knew the REAL dangers of eating Filipino street food, they would never do it. It can literally kill you, depending on your immune system. Ali is young, but these old guys take a big risk. Many Filipinos die everyday from food poisoning and related issues of the stomach.

It's really gonna be difficult because the average price of street food in the Philippines ranges from P10 - P50 only. So, on a $100 budget, that will really take a lot of street food. Just the same, thank you for shooting in Quiapo which is my hometown. More power to you brother.

The chicken balls are not made of testicles but of ground chicken meat and batter with seasonings...
Likewise the kikiam (the long brown one) is a ground pork and shrimp roll with five spice seasoning mix. Its a Filipino version of the Chinese Ngoh hiang.
The hard white part in a balut is also eaten...much slower though because it's hard.

Squidballs is bigger than fishball the long one is kikiam its like nugget, chiken balls looks like with ground black peppers spots. But all taste the same somehow.. 😅😅😅
