My first week in college has passed and it was compiled in this video. So many things happened and luckily, I was able to take clips of the most important events of the first week. I met new friends, tried something new, do things I don’t usually do, and do errands alone. Well, the last one isn’t new to me 😊. It is already my third Monday here in Baguio and I realized and understand why my mother always utter the words ‘Di ko na nga alam kung anong iluluto or ipakain sa inyo”. She always say those words not because we don’t have money to buy food but because it is really difficult pala to think kung ano ang next meal na iluluto. It has become a burden for me. But still, I’m grateful that I always have something to eat at the table. While staying here, I realized that groceries are expensive. From someone who just put everything I like on the cart, I became a person who checks the price first, its expiration date, and what kind of dish I will cook with that specific product.
All of this looks easy when you watch it, but it is not. All the things that social media shows you are the highlights, the easy part but once you do all this firsthand, you’ll know how hard it is.
But this is just the start of another chapter in my life. There’s more to come and I know that you guys will be with me throughout this journey of mine!🤎
