- We've got the new Sonos Roam 2 in! We will do a separate review that goes more into the features and details but here are some fun ways to use this new BT speaker from Sonos.
- Strap it to your mountain bike and enjoy Nature and tunes.
- Attach it to your golf cart and drive around the course at max speed with Iron Maiden playing at volume 100.
- Take it out on the boat when traveling to Cortes Bank or Todos Santos for big waves...get your mind right with music.
- Bring it to the football field to mimic the stadium speakers as you throw the winning touchdown!
Sonos Roam 2 vs Sonos Move
Some people talk about using 2 of these vs. 1 of the Sonos Move. The Sonos Move is a better sounding speaker than 1 or 2 of these (stereo configuration). However, this isn't really meant to give you great sound. The Sonos Roam 2 weighs 1/6 of what the Move does and is meant as a portable option. The Roam 2 does play loud and what is better, loud sound that you can take anywhere or superior sound quality that is the equivalent of lugging a newborn baby around (the Move weighs over 6 pounds). Sonos Roam 2 for the win!

I bought two on Tuesday, everything was great when in WiFi but when you head to the beach you will find you can only play one speaker with bluetooth. How is it that a $99 JBL flip 6 can pair two speakers in stereo in bluetooth and not Sonos?? They could have been great, now they are Best Buy open box for someone else.
I agree. Check out the video we posted 5 seconds ago about the Sonos Move vs the Sonos Roam. The Move sounds way better than 2 Roams.
FYI I'm pretty sure you can pair these in stereo like I have with my era300s and my move 2s using the sonos app. If you havent used the app it's nice. Just add your streaming services and do a few settings. It even works with multiple stereo pairs if you have other sonos pairs.
@@ericwarneradmin No, it will only pair two speakers in WiFi. App then shows no speakers connected when you leave wifi. confirmed with Sonos no pairing on bluetooth only.
@@ericwarneradmin You sure can! We just put up another vid where we talk about this and we're finishing a full video about it shortly. However, the Move itself sounds better than 2 X Roams IMO.
To elaborate (we were out on vacation), you can pair the speakers only when you are connected via Wi-Fi. However, if you aren't connected to Wi-Fi, like jdawz mentioned they only work as single units in BT...no stereo pairing.
