    Hi
    Great video!
Do you know if 3 external monitors can run through HDMI at the same time on the ultra dock 40AJ ?
On my 40A2 I need to go through VGA on one of them

Hey great video. Straight to the point I love it. I’m curious are the keys necessary for functionality? I’m purchasing one from eBay for a bargain with “no keys ” and want to make sure I can still use it. Thanks in advance

The keys are only used for locking the laptop to the dock. As long as the dock is unlocked, you should be able to seat a compatible laptop into the dock.

Would this be recommended for the Lenovo legion go? If not what would you suggest?

Hello Yorch, unfortunately it is not possible to interrupt or suspend charging for the device connected to the dock while maintaining the other features of the docking station. However, most computer manufactures have software on the device themselves that will stop charging once a certain threshold is met. For more info on if the feature is supported please check your system documentation.

      Hi Yorch
Use think vantage to control this. It won't be a problem :)

Would the power consumption of the laptop increase? If yes, you will not be able to use fan to cool down your system at all. Nevertheless, if the power consumption doesn't go up, your laptop won't be able to vent as well as before as the fan holes will be covered.

the laptop is at an angle, but id assume it uses a bit more power if you have a bunch of stuff hooked to it
