Mortomley is one of the best layouts I’ve ever seen. Thanks for sharing 👋
No problem and good choice it's a cracking layout. Tom
Some excellent layouts, and I have seen quite a few in the flesh. Thanks for the video.
no probs mate thanks for watching
My thing micro layouts !!! Great
Glad you like it!
I once made a model Railroad in a shoe shine box, with train engine & cars, each the size of the tip of my pinky finger. I used Monopoly game pieces for the buildings. The train was just made of polymer clay & painted, going in & out of a tunnel on a circular piece of cardboard, spun around by a small hidden DC motor. You don't get too much smaller then that.
no you must have good hands and eyes to build something that small
I am just amazed what someone can do with such a tiny amount of space! Wow!
theres some brilliant layouts out there made on tiny boards, thanks for watching
Great set of layouts.
they certainly are am still toying with doing one in 00 but got to many half finished projects at the moment
amazing !!! thanks for sharing
thanks for watching
Fine presentation. Fine layouts some of them THX
thanks for watching
Lovely layouts great works
thanks for watching
I like the shunting puzzle layout, as small-scale industrial shunting layouts/puzzles, are my particular favourite. While Mortomley also is a nice layout, as is Boxley Sidings, I myself have one or two micro layouts built inside boxfiles, which makes them handy for transporation/storage.
They are great the little box file layouts, am doing a small micro layout at the moment of a railway museum.
We should arrange a youtube micro layout build off. Can come up with a list of standard size and design of board thats nice and cheap, standard track components(say two yard of track and two points max)
Rest is up to whoever enters. Would be a really interesting way to bring together a lot of the model railway channels and the viewers and share a lot of skills and ideas.
Looks good
thanks for watching
Incredible....
Glad you like the vid, thanks for watching. Tom
Proof the "lack of space is no reason for not having a fantastic model railway
it certainly is, i do like looking at these little layouts and i started a little micro railway museum layout which i really need to get back into, feel free to look at the videos of it, thanks for watching. Tom

@6:13
Anyone know the name of the superb back-scene in this OO layout? The way it curves to avoid corners is excellent.
am not sure unfortunately sorry
north west trains models
Thanks anyway.
Are they OO scale or a mixture of different scales? Very nice
Hi they are different scales majority of them are either n gauge or 00
I’m sure I’ve seen the one at 5:53 in railway modeller before, must be 20 years ago
am sure a few of them would have featured in there at some point, micro layouts have become really popular over the last few years especially with dcc which can make operating a small layout alot more interesting, thanks for watching. Tom
just stumbled on this video... wow
thanks glad you like it, Tom
Which size vehicles would go with 009 scale?
1/76 scale same size as 00
@@northwesttrainsmodels Thanks
I’ve heard of flying pigs, now I’ve seen rolling pigs (9:57)
I just haven't got the manual dexterity for anything smaller than OO, alas. Too fiddly.
i now what you mean i used to have n gauge but after using 00 the last 5 years i struggled to using n gauge again after that, i also like g scale in the garden, thanks for watching. Tom
what guage are these?
Hi there all different scales in this vid any particular layout you ment, thanks for watching. Tom
