REGARDING THE MOTOR ROTATION - I had a follower mention you can switch the Blue and Orange motor terminals to remedy the issue of the reverse being 100% and the forward being 25%. Just In case your Transmitter does not have the options to reverse them. This would be the solution. Thank you for the TIP!!!
This video saved me! I bought two of these ESCs (to power a dual motor RC 10x10) and, like you said, both cards had different default data. I couldn't understand why my motors were spinning in opposite directions while, also, jumping the dual rubber toothed belts. One was defaulted to CCW and the other was CW. Luckily I didn't do any irreversible damage. I changed one of the ESCs to setting 2:2 and it worked perfectly!
I came from flying los acro quads, one of the first things I ditched was the stock radio. I don't have a ton of time on surface radios, but upgrading your radio is great advice. I have the flysky noble and the radio link both are so much better than the stock radios it adds a totally different feel to the car and it makes it easy to set expo epa etc. Great video btw :)
PLEASE READ THIS!! I am a VERY satisfied subscriber/supporter - I have never been a patreon person but I signed up with Randy East and he has provided me IMMEDIATE and INVALUABLE support via text for almost a full day to walk me through issues - based on his channel, I bought a Kraton 6S EXB about a month ago - haven’t even driven it yet as I am installing a bunch of the after market parts and changing out the diff fluids - ran in to a big problem re-assembling the rear diff - would not fit no matter what I did and no matter what housing (plastic stock, Hot Racing metal or RCAWD metal) I used - the last limited slip star gear always placed above the housing - Randy answered my text within 5 min, sent me pictures, suggested fixes and stayed with me for most of Saturday - I was really frustrated but he really helped including recommendations on how to prevent leaks once it dawned on me what was wrong - turned out I was installing the stock, rectangular shims vertically rather than horizontally - fits now - Kratons and the like are serious machines and it really helps to have a pro in your corner - outstanding Randy, thanks

Oh Basherqueen as sponsors that’s great. Currently my Kraton has left front suspension bent and broke from first drive after fixing. 😢 Oh by the way I still don’t have the package from August as I have no idea what local post have done with it as they say it not trackable as it’s an international package.

You do know that you could have saved yourself some time and a long ass video if you just switched your motor wires in the right position. This is why you didn’t have full throttle in forward. That blue wire is wire C the middle yellow wire is B and the first red wire is wire A. You had your wires crossed the whole time. Although your video is informative. The information you gave about the power output was misinformation based on your wire position.
You know, I do agree that section is a bit long-winded. I had an itching feeling that the solution or a remedy to that hangup could have something to do with changing the wire positions. However, I did simply plug the wires in based on their color coding, which I’m sure most people will do. Your comment mentions a red wire in my case. However, there is no red wire, so you must be referencing the orange. Going against the color coding is fine. I just want to make sure it’s clear. Are you saying the orange and blue wire can/should be switched? That does make sense, and I wish I would have mentioned this. Thanks for the enlightenment.
Yes I meant the orange wire. Usually cans(motors) that are under 6s with the exception of Spektrum motors with the short wires and small plugs on the back of the can it’s A-B-C and motors with 6.5mm plugs it’s C-B-A. I don’t know why they do that but I use this as a general rule of thumb. I greatly appreciate the fact that you can take constructive criticism, and make corrections accordingly. You will go very far with that attitude. Because it means that you can be a student and a teacher. So Kudos to you my friend. And would love to be your RC sidekick. 😁😁 I have a wealth of info to share. I have some videos that I am editing right now. As it is a brushless motor swapping any 2 connection will make it turn in other direction.
