Ineos, were the Challenger of Record, so they did have a say in the rules as well as TNZ.
I reckon this could be a very close match, given how Ineos have improved since the start and the fact TNZ have not raced for 4 weeks.

I've really enjoyed watching the racing leading upto this point. Served up on youtube, you can watch it at your convenience as if live late on the afternoons or evenings.
With all the fancy graphics, it's easy to tell what's happening so if you like F1, you'll love the race for the America's cup.
Interestingly, it's the oldest surviving international cup series which started in England in 1851 and was called the HUNDRED GUINEA CUP. It was won by a sailing team from New York with a yacht called America.. Subsequently, the name was changed to the Americas cup in honour of the first winner.
Maybe if we win it for the first time with a boat called Britannia, we should rename the trophy.... THE BRITANNIA CUP... just a thought.
