- In this video, we toured a Skyhawk HUD ANSI home at Winter Haven RV in Lake Wales, FL. This unit is model 690, but I was unable to find a floor plan. As with most of the park models in Florida we have toured, this home features plenty of storage and lots of unique features. The home has 499 square feet of living space with tons of luxury features including Corian tops, LVP flooring, tons of cabinets and an amazing bathroom! The home can be purchased as wind zone 3 or 2, depending on where you place it.

There are lots of attention to detail quality features that help justify the price - this is not an economy model. This is more of a production line middle manager stepping up. Nice, I like it a lot.

I love this house
Very nice home 👍 I would request to put the dishwasher on the right side of the sink since I'm right handed. The windows behind the couch would reflect directly onto the TV screen. Just sayin. Homebuilders take note. I wish there were larger closets in these homes. I would make the entire wall bordering the bathroom a walk-in closet. That would make these homes more practical and liveable for the long-term.

Beautiful tiny home. What is a HUD house?
HUD is the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. They have special housing programs for lower income families and also work with FHA for loans for low to middle income families especially on their first home purchases. A tiny home that is HUD approved is NOT considered a park model RV. Park model RV's are considered like a typical tow behind RV and insured and financed the same way. HUD homes are financed and insured more like a conventional, site built, stick built home. HUD has specific standards and requirements that manufacturers have to meet in order for the home to qualify. Our opinion is, if you're getting a tiny home on wheels, it would be better to purchase one that is HUD approved. You will get actual real property value from it.
Not crazy about the furniture option, and would prefer White Cabinets. Also what's with all the mirrors? That look went out of style in the late 70s early 80s!
You can customize cabinets and floors and other things if you want. The mirrors seem to be gaining popularity in tinier homes as it gives the illusion of more space.
Those shower tiles are a BIG NO need to be White or Gray.

I’ll be quiet. Seriously though thanks for watching! We have been discussing changing our format up a little in the future with less talking and Paul in the way and doing more footage of features and the home then adding music, voice overs and words on the screen. Our current format is easier to churn out videos quickly but our newer format requires more editing and time. We’re learning as we go and appreciate your feedback and input!

You have to be crazy to buy one of these MATCH BOX houses in HURRICANE COUNTRY!!!!
They are HUD homes and wind zone 3 standards and there are tons of communities in Florida with homes like these but you could always move one to North Dakota.
