I think the Korean drama "The Last Empress" was actually inspired by the real life story of Diana and her cheating husband. I watched it with English subtitles on Rakuten Viki. There's a scene where the Emperor is overheard on the phone saying to his mistress that, " No matter what happens, I'll still love you." On his wedding night. This is something Princess Diana said that Charles said to Camilla on the phone on her wedding too, so now I'm sure the series was inspired by a true story.
