- At the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, observers noticed that Catherine, Princess of Wales was paying homage to Diana, Princess of Wales by wearing a pair of diamond and pearl earrings gifted to the late princess by Prince Charles ahead of their wedding in 1981. The South-Sea Pearl Earrings were worn by Princess Diana at several public events. Here, Diana can be seen wearing them at a state banquet held in honour of the Prince and Princess of Wales during their tour of South Korea on 3 November 1992. This Korean trip was Charles and Diana’s last official engagement together.
Yeah it was noted throughout the thing that a lot of the time they just gave off a very tense, aggressive and negative energy off towards each other and it was very visible that they just didn’t want to be in public together. Soooo it was the last time and then they got separated

If you read about their courtship, proposal, and engagement it was very clear Charles didn't love Diana before the wedding. His proposal was a job offer in the royal hierarchical organization. Diana wanted the job, she wanted to be the Princess of Wales and have all the benefits of being married to Charles.
Charles didn't change his bachelor lifestyle until the day before the wedding and Diana KNEW IT.
Charles ended all of his intimate relationships with all the women he was seeing including Camilla just before the wedding. He was never willing to end his friendship with Camilla. Camilla is Charles best friend and most emotionally supportive person in his life and Diana KNEW IT.
The honeymoon was a disaster. Charles planned a 3 month relaxing honeymoon vacation to get to know each other. Two weeks on the royal yacht and over two months at Balmoral. They didn't really know each other before the wedding. He intended to make the marriage work.
Diana had unrealistic expectations and was disappointed and angry. She was binge eating and purging multiple times a day and crying. Diana pretended to like Balmoral and countryside living before the wedding, Diana strongly disliked Balmoral and the family countryside activities. She was so angry she had a physically destructive outburst and Charles was alarmed. He found a therapist for Diana before the honeymoon was over. Diana refused therapy. Charles retreated to reading his books. The smell of vomit is not an afridesiac.
Diana had serious emotional anxiety problems caused by her extremely unhappy childhood. Charles had a number of doctors see Diana trying to help her. Diana refused professional help. Diana had many of the traits and symptoms of BPD. There are articles and books written about Diana's mental health. Diana publicly talked about her unhappy childhood and struggles with depression and bulimia.
Charles was sympathetic at first but became irritated and disgusted by Diana's bulimia and other self-destructive behaviors. Especially since she refused professional help. Diana would threaten to harm herself to get attention. She attempted suicide when she was pregnant with William. Charles was turned off by the smell of vomit. Diana said they were happiest just before Harry was born. Diana said they had fleeting moments of happiness. Their marriage never really worked.
