    There’s 4 key factors in players seeming to have constant success in GSW:
    1- the scheme/ coaching: especially this yeah with a “Wheel” offense Terry Stotts ran in Portland fused with Kerrs motion offense that been in place for 9 years and Stackhouse solid defensive concepts it really sets a great foundation for team success.
    2- Draymond is a floor raiser, Draymond makes guys do the little things that don’t appear on the stat sheet like back screens, relocating, and team defense that raises the floors of individual average NBA players
    3- Steph Curry is a ceiling raiser. He takes an average player and takes their ability for winning and raises the ceiling, his gravity 2 to 3 defenders anytime he moves towards the rim. The average defensive scheme is thrown off because of how much people have to account for curry moving which really gives guys beautiful open shots and has given healed a huge leg up in going for 6th man or Most improved player award at the end of the year.
    -Ultimately the ironic timing of Buddy Hield landing in the Warriors at this time of his career. You can tell mentally and emotionally. He’s very comfortable there, he lived and worked only an hour away in Sacramento for the Kings four years so he’s familiar with the region as well. He’s played against the Warriors as a division opponent for years so he’s familiar with their scheme from the other side as well. I’ve been whining for years about how he’s the perfect fit for the Warriors and it’s very vindicating to see him winning on this team.

  • @Mileena420
    @Mileena420 15 дней назад +32

    It makes perfect sense why Buddy Hield is striving in the Warriors system. The warriors are single Handley the best team of all time at getting open looks especially from 3. Ball movement and screens has been a staple of Kerr's warriors for as long as I can remember. Buddy's probally never been this open in his life. Great shooters will always thrive in this system.

      @FeelMyBirdie I don't think it's PTSD. Klay has never been a big leaper. He rarely dunks, for instance. He is still a very good athlete, he just doesn't have that explosive burst anymore, not like the young guys like Kuminga. He just has to use his body in a more efficient way. Steph too. That's just reality of getting older. He's like 3 years older than Buddy Hield, and Buddy still has that explosiveness.

    • @jackwang9536
      @jackwang9536 15 дней назад +4

      He doesn't need to start. He's already 4th on the team in minutes per game. When he comes off the bench and Steph is still on the court, they're the new Death Lineup. And when Steph rests, Buddy stays and draws all the attention as the best 3 point shooter, which frees up space for the other guys to score. There's a reason why the Warriors are far & away the top bench scoring team right now in the NBA. Because of Hield coming off the bench, there is literally no dropoff in quality when Steph rests.

It just speaks to the type of superstar he is. Even Buddy has said he is extremely humble. And another thing, the amazing Steve Kerr offense..
