Hi Geoff, I think you must be a very forgiving person to get all these problems and after the long wait you have had still like the model but it is good that Revolution Trains responded in the way they did and I hope you will be delighted when the "new " one comes back to you as for the 47 well done I found it hard fitting lights to the 66 in oo scale so I take my hat off to you for doing it in n. Keep safe and well. Cheers Robert.
Another great video Geoff. I have had a lot of wagons from Revolution in the past with no problem and have a few ordered for delivery later this year. My first locomotive ordered is the class 59 sound and I hope this arrives in a better state than your 321 Hope they get the problem resolved and back to you quickly. Hope to see you soon. Hi, how did you connect the LEDs to the decoder so that one red comes on and not the other and vise versa with the headlights? Very nice job on that, and my 321s been a nightmare since I've put in on the track, such a shame as its been highly anticipated for years now
Great video Geoff, I started to think you’d sorted the 321, but so sorry to see not, atm. You are right the drive gear should not be chewed in that way. Looks like a malformed worm drive or ill-fitted worm, (or both). Im amazed you managed to fit lighting to the 47. I tried ages ago with farish 90, oh what a disaster! Welcome to the world of 3d printing, kept that quiet! Lol. Thanks for the mention. Take care
hi. the outer tail lights on the 47 are red only. in forwards the yellow lights should be in the centre (the two in the 'domino', which would have illuminated the headcode box in earlier days).
Greetings Geoff 🌞 very entertaining show 👏👏👏 Your work on the 47's lights was incredible 😍 I picked up a Mars 3 too and have to agree the finess of detail is amazing 😍 Shame the new addition had issues 😫 hopefully they will sort it out for you soon 🤞 Very best wishes from County Wicklow ☘️
Wow, impressive work to light the 47, as there was not the room, but you made it. Great way to enter the world of 3D printing. Sadly, despite being a truly gorgeous model, that 321 was problematic mechanically from the get-go. It's a shame this seems to be not uncommon from Revolution, based on the channels I view. Best wishes to you Geoff, and hopefully the next one is a winner! Cheers!
Hello Geoff. I am new to your channel but I want to thank you for this review. That Class 321 looks nice enough although I think they should have used foam like Kato does or use the clear blister packaging. That may have prevented those detail parts coming away like they did. Have you done a review of the Class 319 from Farish? I am getting one for Christmas this year to myself.
Hi Geof I have two sound fitted midland 321s , from revolution trains , one :I can't read the decode to change the running number ( like it's not been fitted ??? ) the other no problem reading the decoder , changing number and sounds etc all good . But it derails as switches right to left , left to right on my test track S section , On the same test track a full rack of mark 5 coaches can be pushed at full speed backwards by a class 66 , I would like to thank you , as I set a test track up just to check out the running of my two 321s. On the back of your posted problems . As my layout is still in the planning stages . Many thanks John @ Gatwick
sorry for the late reply - i just found a load of messages that I didn't know I had, Sorry about that. Did you get your 321 fixed . Revolution trains changed mine but its still not great
Hi Geoff received my class 320 this morning and before I took it out of the box one of the motor bogies was detached from the body, i have not run it yet
@@flinthillsmodelrailway hi Geoff no i didn't i attended the Sutton Coldfield show in June and approached revolution train's there about the 320 unit but was told that the guy who i should talk to was not at the show that day but I spoke to Mike Hale and explained that i also had two outstanding orders from them for two more 321 units and was instructed to send them an email the following Monday which I did and no reply from them and I have sent two more emails to them in September and December and have still not heard anything so next i'l be writing a letter to them and i'l see if they reply to that
Hiya Geoff , Sorry to hear that about the 321 , I have 2 on order ( NSE , and Silverlink ) I am looking forward to seeing them . But after hearing about the problems with them i am Dreading them arriving with faults , Drive gears failing after 2 hours , I have also had a few problems with the 92's as well with electrical Connections but thought i would have a go myself and up till now have worked . But back to the 321 i have also seen on a few Videos that they derail on the same bogies ( Pantograph - Lavatory coaches ) But hose connections look to Heavy Duty for my liking . So my fingers are crossed that you will get a much better running unit .
@@flinthillsmodelrailway no worries Geoff . I actually got 2 class 321's. The only problem I did get with the NSE version was the bogie under one of the cars been a bit tight but I did quarter turn the screw and all was fine . The second one was a silverlink. No problems with it at all worked straight from the box 💯 👌
Love the 47 lighting. Great 3D printing.
Most enjoyable video Geoff, and good honest opinions on your loco experiences. I'm sure they will be sorted out successfully.
Really enjoyed that Geoff 👍
look forward to the next one 👍
Keep safe and well
Andy
Thanks Andy very Kind

Yes. I did notice this when I looked at some pictures , however farish had already put the holes in the model so i kept it simple for effect.

Hi Geoff - the class 320/1 is a cracking looking model. Here's hoping Revolution can fix the issue - especially the derailing. Cheers Euan
