Caroline Bowman absolutely nails it with her performance of 'Defying Gravity'! ✨ Her rendition is so powerful and captivating, truly embodying the essence of Elphaba. And with Kara Lindsay as Glinda and Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible, this performance becomes even more magical.
I know Idina Menzel is famous now for her Let it Go song, but these songs from Wicked are what really impact me! This song “Deying Gravity” to me is 10 times better than “Let it Go.” NOTE: I am aware this is Caroline Bowman not Idina; I’m just saying this because she originated the role.
And Caroline is now playing Elsa in the national tour of Frozen…another role Idina originated (in the film). If she has ever played Maureen in Rent that would be the Idina trifecta!
