Driving through Buenos Aires, Argentina - 17 April 2004

A video showing different parts of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 17 April 2004. The video starts out on the Autopista 25 de Mayo expressway heading east into the city center, then north on the Avenida 9 de Julio. The drive continues around the heart of the city, including the Casa Rosada ("Pink House"), the official mansion of the Argentine president on the Plaza de Mayo. The end of the video shows the drive along the Buenos Aires waterfront past the Argentine Navy headquarters (where an A-4 Skyhawk jet on a pedestal is on display, around 18:40 in the video) toward the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery domestic airport, northwest of the city center.
This was recorded using a Sony DCR-DVD101 camcorder, one of the first Sony camcorders that recorded on mini DVD discs up to 30 minutes' video or 1.4 GB of data. Video only, no audio.
