    Thank you for explaining with the overlap. I felt like I had some conflicting explanations from other sources, and that helps. Now I know I definitely want to use "disculpa" over "perdón" even though I learned "perdón" and "perdóname" a lot earlier, and they come so much more naturally as a native English speaker, being so close to "pardon me," which would be appropriate if we want to ask a stranger a question (though personally I usually use "excuse me").

    hahaha. i always use perdon/perdonne in exuse me. now i know what to use

    • @juanmccoy3066
      @juanmccoy3066 3 года назад

      Thats acceptable. Its more like pardon me.
      Lo siento is like im sorry or literrally (i feel you) you know how the blacks say "i feel ya bro" its like that but literaly. So lo siento would be more for expressing sympathy "im sorry ur dog died" its not ur fault but ur sympathetic.
      I grew up speaking spanish catalan french and english (but not in a fluent way, like in a very mixed and confused way) and i still say "im sorry" in english when mean to say excuse me and people be like " oh why are you sorry its not ur fault" that bugs the shit out of me. Its the same fucking thing.
      And thats true in any language. It just adds a level of politeness and formality and theres nothing wrong with that.
      Shes offering the nuances, but technically u can say whatever u want. Lo siento, perdon, desculpa me, etc
      The only time u HAVE to say lo siento is when expressing sympathy, cuz descuple would mean that ur asking to be dismissed which can come off ass indefference.
      This is true across all romance languages catalan and german, but not in japanese for some reason, as far as i know anyway.
      Im fluent in 3 languages but know a great deal in at least 6 plus latin

    You compained your marker didn't work - tip - hint - cap it incessantly - you don't mark much as you speak in the video, as you write most of it it up before starting, so practice capping it right after each little added note between lines on your board - especially since you gesture a lot, you are waving the tip around in the air, & it dries out the tip surface - won't write right away on first letter - but after first letter, it will, because friction gets fluid to run into dry part - keep pen pointed tip down, too - i know it's a pain, but these things cost per pen 4 - 5 times what chalk used to, & wasting pens adds up on your budget - no lo temas a mal, pero, not capping is wasting ink - i used to supply teachers & i know - i taught, too, & found out the pros were right - keep it capped & try to keep it tip down - you will be happier with the pens - new teachers always complain their pens go dry so fast - hard to convince them what to do - you're not new to expressing what to say, but to markers that dry fast, maybe & they DO !!!

    This channel is simply amazing! I'm from Brazil and in my town there's lots of people who speak Spanish. I need to learn this beautiful language. And I think I'm in the right place. Thanks!

      If u expect to get around latin america period outside of ur little slum village in Brazil you NEED to learn spanish.
      Its amazing quite frankly that portoguese has survived so damn long. I can understand french surviving on the islands but ud think a mainland country wouldve been over run with spanish speaking people a lot longer ago, its amazing that its barely happenning in the late 20th and early 21st century.
      What i DO like about brazil is the students. Tomorrows leaders are going to be extremely libertarian. Thats going to be exciting as hell to witness in my lifetime. It may very well be the only reason i attempt to learn portoguese, the last romance language i do not know.

      Theres a lot of Anarcho capitalist students in Brazil. Are you ancap? Do u read Rothbard or Spooner or Ayn Rand or any of the Chicago Boys? How do you feel about the economy of Pinochet in contrast to the socialism and rampant narco economies around latin america?
      These are the questions id want to ask a Brazlian student in portogues
