Ana's videos are more than helpful, absolutely educational, and enjoyable. Ana is an effective, dedicated, and energetic teacher with wonderfully charming persona. After discovering Ana's videos about 3 weeks ago, I have somehow become addicted :)
Great lesson. Thank you Ana. I have been using lo siento for everything and then apologising for my limited Spanish. I guess they had already worked that out for themselves :)
Thank you for explaining with the overlap. I felt like I had some conflicting explanations from other sources, and that helps. Now I know I definitely want to use "disculpa" over "perdón" even though I learned "perdón" and "perdóname" a lot earlier, and they come so much more naturally as a native English speaker, being so close to "pardon me," which would be appropriate if we want to ask a stranger a question (though personally I usually use "excuse me").

You compained your marker didn't work - tip - hint - cap it incessantly - you don't mark much as you speak in the video, as you write most of it it up before starting, so practice capping it right after each little added note between lines on your board - especially since you gesture a lot, you are waving the tip around in the air, & it dries out the tip surface - won't write right away on first letter - but after first letter, it will, because friction gets fluid to run into dry part - keep pen pointed tip down, too - i know it's a pain, but these things cost per pen 4 - 5 times what chalk used to, & wasting pens adds up on your budget - no lo temas a mal, pero, not capping is wasting ink - i used to supply teachers & i know - i taught, too, & found out the pros were right - keep it capped & try to keep it tip down - you will be happier with the pens - new teachers always complain their pens go dry so fast - hard to convince them what to do - you're not new to expressing what to say, but to markers that dry fast, maybe & they DO !!!
