A rather late comment. I have just purchased an XT2 and a number of Fuji X lens. This is the best explanation of a camera's controls I have seen on YT. Thanks for having the video camera placed such that there was a very clear and uncluttered view of controls that were being discussed. I will now, certainly, view the remaining XT2 videos, though it seems there are more for the XT3. However, the XT2 was all the camera I needed.
Robert Cudlipp Welcome aboard the Fuji train, amazing camera! I have had mine for a few years, always learning something new. One trick I don’t think was mentioned is turning your compensation dial around to the”C” now you can use the front command dial to go up or down, push it again to change ISO.
Thank you for sharing Michael, I’m seriously considering buying this camera. The only thing that I’m undecided on is the lens, I don’t know if I should get the 18-55 or the 18-135 (I just want one lens), I don’t do any professional work, this is for family and vacation shooting.I’ll wait for part 2 and 3 and 4 (LOL).
Enrique The kit lens is going to be very hard to beat for the value and I would recommend starting there. Then start adding to your collection as the needs arise according to the shooting you do. I am using the 16 to 55 2.8 for most of my testing, simply because I need something comparable to 24 to 70 2.8
Thank you so much for your great tutorials. I'm just playing around with my settings for my fuji x-t2. But when I'm in A-Mode there's nothing happening with my front dial, I can't adjust the aperture (the little dial-sign "half moon" also doesn't appear). Also in P Mode I can't change the aperture with the rear dial. I use the xf 18-55mm/2.8-4. I assume that some setting in the menue could be the reason for this behaviour. Schutter speed works fine with the front dial, so I don't understand what I have done wrong. What can I do? Could you please help me? Greetings from Germany ;-)
Thank you very much for your response Michael. I really appreciate spending your time for my "desperate" question. With A-Mode I mean Aperture Priority, when everything else is on auto beside the aperture. In the Manual page 6+67 you see that it's possible to adjust the aperture with the rear command dial. There should also be this little sign in the VF "half moon for the dial" at the F-Stop to change it with the dial. This works with my camera with shutter speed but not with the aperture. I hope I don't bother you too much, but I've searched the whole internet and can't find an answer...by the way, I will purchase your XT2-Crash Course Video to dive deeper in the funnctions of this superb camera. I still hope you can find the Answer ;-) Thank you!

Thank you! Bought one on eBay and it’s my first Fuji, I am so beyond excited but I was a bit overwhelmed by all the buttons lol
Literally just found out about the screen switch to tilt the other direction. I have had this for 3 years!
I love my Sony a6000 but I have to admit I'm jealous of all those manual controls.
Outstanding. It arrived today. This helped a lot already.
VERY CLEAR SUMMARY. THANK YOU.

Snappy1010 A stands for "automatic" not aperture. Typically aperture is change mechanically on the lens depending on the type of lens you have.
