I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't remove the bumper to do the install. Lots of time saved and no damage to the bumper trying to remove/install.

Are these splitters tough to take a beating from the streets ? I think it would possibly graze my driveway.
Sebin Kuriakose yes I don't see why not. These are made from aluminum compared to my maxton and that was okay with the occasional Scrape. I've been driving with the aerofabb now a week and I have yet to hear it Scrape. I've pretty much been on all the roads that I've scraped on prior. This one isn't as low of a profile as most splitters out there for this platform but the look you want is absolutely there
I have an LSG 17 R and wondering if you still like the mod? Are these wind splitters pure esthetic?
Yes completely. No functionality and didn’t last long at high speeds.

Would this be worth it? And after reading the comments, I thought the aerofabb splitter was supposed to be functional and now I’m reading it’s just for aesthetics?
just for looks would never buy one again as it ripped my bumper off my R at high speeds and tore off my gti from the same reason. junk.

Why do they call it a splitter? A splitter is meant to dam the air and stop it from going underneath the car. This is a lip kit. no actual aerodynamic function. It does look good though.
put that down ..flip that off pinch that pin out ..all access see all around really easy .jackstand ..jack itup move thst there abc bolts nuts go with cba lmnopqrstuvwxyz in slot abc ..easy peasy bolt drill snap bolt clip that in there flip it down right ...done !!
