    Thank you so much for all you do!!!!!
    Quick question!! When I wake up and try to go back to sleep, my brain races. Is it even POSSIBLE for someone to fall sleep if their head is racing and their brain is being overactive? I get discouraged thinking the only way to sleep is if my brain quiets down. They aren’t always even negative thoughts, sometimes it’s literally thinking about what I’m going to eat for breakfast the next day, it is just continuously talking. So do you know if there is a chance someone could fall asleep even when their mind is super hyperactive?

    Hi daniel I hope you're doing well, I realised that I have a fear that my body will get used to sleeplessness and it will get used to very little sleep and I will never sleep like before insomnia . how can I convince my brain that isn't true daniel😢.

    • @thesleepcoachschool8192
      @thesleepcoachschool8192  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! I’d say this, it’s a common fear that many who’ve left the struggle would recognize. And you know, it’s when we try to convince our brain that there’s some resistance and fears linger. When we no longer try, change happens by itself

    So, what is the "putting in the work" that Michelle is referring to for us in the program? Wouldn't that be a sleep effort? I find myself daily trying to remember what I'm supposed to be thinking or "working on", but if I ask a sleep coach, they tell me "there's nothing to do - doing is the problem". Still stuck a bit in this paradox, as you can see.

    • @thesleepcoachschool8192
      @thesleepcoachschool8192  10 месяцев назад

      Hi Dan,
      It IS very paradoxical, I’d say it’s like this: sometimes we need to do a little work to see there’s no work required, learn to see there’s no learning needed, understand that there’s nothing to understand.
      What she refers to is education and self-exploration: for example, seeing that we are stuck because we pushing ourselves trying to find a way out, this can lead to much change and self kindness.

    I have a question, can low iron/ferritin cause insomnia? I have never had a problem sleeping before. And as far as I know my iron has been low for years. Not sure about ferritin. Now I can’t sleep or nap through the day. I want to fix it.

    • @MohamedElfdul
      @MohamedElfdul 10 месяцев назад

      No, this does not cause insomnia, I also don't nap and it is all about sleep drive, don't try to fix or tweak things about your sleep, sleep happens by itself, what causes insomnia is when you ask how to sleep, so it's all about how, and sleep is a passive process you can't fix it or initiate, I told you this when you in bed just try to relax and delegate sleep process to your mind, that's all❤

      CooperJack said it nicely, and if you look through the videos from the last weeks you’ll see the sleep deprivation vs insomnia episode they review this in detail

    I’m back struggling with insomnia after 5 years without it, I was sleeping very well but one night I woke up feeling anxious and couldn’t get back to sleep and that triggered the old obsessive thoughts about insomnia..Does anyone experienced the same thing? I’m feeling hopeless, this time I feel really depressed, the first time I got insomnia I had some hope but now I’m feeling really depressed and scared..

      Hi Rudy! I don’t think this has any meaningful impact, it’s all gas and brake that I think matters. But hope you have a nice thanksgiving 😊

      @@thesleepcoachschool8192 gas and break but also a little about direction , or as you said, education.
