Thank you so much. Good question - I will add the details to the video info. But for your reference we used two K4000S Bi-Color LED lite panels by F&V Lighting, balanced to daylight (5600K). Thanks again, Elliot
Thank you. We just liked the look of 33fps for a slightly slowed dream like feel. 48fps was too slow for what we wanted at half speed. Shooting at 33fps and then delivery at 24fps gave a really nice softness.
Thank you so much Jose! Really appreciate you checking out our latest work. So the night scenes were lit with 2 daylight balanced LED lite panels (one as the keylight and the other as a backlight), and then we had a little tungsten lantern below frame giving that warm under glow. We filmed through dusk which is a pretty short window of light but the 6K Pro's sensitivity allowed us to keep shooting as the light levels fell. Please join us over at instagram.com/ellandzand if you want to see some BTS and making of videos (coming soon) - many thanks again and Happy New Year!

What a Wonderful Short Film continuing the 'COSMOS' storyline!😃 I'm waiting with GREAT ANTICIPATION for the sequel! 😃 (YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST PRODUCE A SEQUEL! THIS STORYLINE IS VERY IMPORTANT!)😇 Although, personally I would have chosen Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata as the accompanying music score for this film composition. (If you play the film back and mute it while playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, you'll see it matches up PERFECTLY with the pacing of the film!) Not a criticism, though! 😇 Just an observation I made.😊 Would it be okay, if your fans could contribute possible storyline development to a proposed sequel? (I don't want to interfere with your creative conceptualization of this storyline; I wouldn't be surprised if you wrote one out already.) It's just that, I don't normally get so invested and enthused with such projects, however, I'm VERY INTERESTED in this one and can't help but to want to be a part of it! I hope you don't mind and welcome contributions ideas. I'm not looking for money, so much as believing in this film work of yours and perhaps contributing an idea or two. If it's not too much trouble, might I have an email contact to submit my thoughts? I can be reached on my Gregory Higgs [New York] Facebook Page MESSENGER until you might provide me a more direct medium of communication if you feel it's appropriate.😇 AGAIN, ... WONDERFUL WORK!😇
Hi there Gregory! Wow, thank you so much for all of this. Firstly, just thank you for your overall support of what we've created in the world of Cosmos and then taking the time to watch this short film and reach out to us with so many great ideas. We're thrilled you enjoyed the short and also great suggestion with Moonlight Sonata - I shall play it alongside the short and experience it. We would absolutely love to make a sequel to Cosmos and continue the story of the Astronuts and what happens next. If you're on Facebook probably the best way to get in touch is via the films FB page facebook.com/EllianderPictures - we have a lot of DM's and mail so please forgive us if there's a delay in replying to you (we genuinely try to communicate with everyone but this takes time ofc) - we'd love to hear from you. Are you crowdfunding?
@@Matt_Mosley1983 The Deep is exactly what we're working on! Great to connect with you and great to hear about GETAWAY! Are you going to be documenting the making of? At the moment we're talking within industry to get funding, but we'll see how it goes. The process might be too slow for our liking and we might crowdfund.
Thanks for taking the time to watch. Yeah we didn't want to make the film the full 5+ minutes length of Clair De Lune. It would've been nice but we didn't feel necessary, as most of the people who watch probably won't be intimately familiar enough with the piece to sense the shortening, or at least, familiar enough that it ruined their viewing experience as a whole. Appreciate that it wasn't for you thought, thats totally cool and what makes art so great for discussion. Cheers for your feedback though, Elliot
David Owle oh not at all, it’s always great to have a conversation and no one’s opinion should be dismissed. Thank you for watching, thank you for having the courage to share you opinion and thank you for being open minded in hearing ours. So, thank you. Very much appreciated, yours is one of my favourite comments on this vid. Best, EW

Thank you so much. Good question - I will add the details to the video info. But for your reference we used two K4000S Bi-Color LED lite panels by F&V Lighting, balanced to daylight (5600K). Thanks again, Elliot
That shot at 2:28 WOW
Thank you!! Please to know the reveal was worth the wait. Happy New Year!
Beautiful! Why did you choose to shoot at 33fps?
Thank you. We just liked the look of 33fps for a slightly slowed dream like feel. 48fps was too slow for what we wanted at half speed. Shooting at 33fps and then delivery at 24fps gave a really nice softness.
Astronuts indeed iykyk
ABSOLUTELY!!! Thanks for being part of the cosmos family
Nice
Thank you my friend
Wow ❤
What setting you used to up load your video in davinci resolve?
Very nice, how did you light the outdoor night scene? The color grading is excellent great job all around. Keep them coming guy’s.
Thank you very much for the response and info. I already follow you on Instagram but I will follow the link you provided to make sure I’m at the right place. Thanks again
Just looked at the bts pics, I appreciate you guys sharing the bts. You guys rock
@@JoseRamos-ew4pd Thank you Jose! Sorry I didn't connect the dots that you followed us on IG already! Apologies my friend. But thank you so much for interacting and being part of the conversation. Really means a lot as we try to provide interesting content. Cheers buddy, Elliot
What a Wonderful Short Film continuing the 'COSMOS' storyline!😃
I'm waiting with GREAT ANTICIPATION for the sequel! 😃
(YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST PRODUCE A SEQUEL! THIS STORYLINE IS VERY IMPORTANT!)😇
Although, personally I would have chosen Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata as the accompanying music score for this film composition.
(If you play the film back and mute it while playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, you'll see it matches up PERFECTLY with the pacing of the film!)
Not a criticism, though! 😇 Just an observation I made.😊
Would it be okay, if your fans could contribute possible storyline development to a proposed sequel?
(I don't want to interfere with your creative conceptualization of this storyline; I wouldn't be surprised if you wrote one out already.)
It's just that, I don't normally get so invested and enthused with such projects, however, I'm VERY INTERESTED in this one and can't help but
to want to be a part of it! I hope you don't mind and welcome contributions ideas.
I'm not looking for money, so much as believing in this film work of yours and perhaps contributing an idea or two.
If it's not too much trouble, might I have an email contact to submit my thoughts?
I can be reached on my Gregory Higgs [New York] Facebook Page MESSENGER
until you might provide me a more direct medium of communication if you feel it's appropriate.😇
AGAIN, ...
Again, many many thanks for your time and support and giving both Cosmos and Over The Moon a chance. Both films were made for you and we're thrilled you found them. All the best to you, Elliot & Zander
What lens you use

Guauuuuu 😍
Do you have a new project lined up for 2022?
We have a feature in the funding stage so it's looking good for production this year
@@Elliander I looked you up an hour ago and saw THE DEEP listed on IMDb so I'll be keeping a look out 🙂 (and if you need help I'm available to do whatever I can as I'm looking to get some behind the scenes experience in preparation for my own one location crime feature *GETAWAY* Thanks for the reply.)
Beautiful. But why did you have to chop up Claire de Lune so badly?!
Fly in the ointment as far as I'm concerned.
@@Elliander I understand 😭
Don't mind my curmudgeonly ways. Beautiful work
David Owle oh not at all, it’s always great to have a conversation and no one’s opinion should be dismissed. Thank you for watching, thank you for having the courage to share you opinion and thank you for being open minded in hearing ours. We believe in a conversation about creativity subjectivity where everyone is right in their own way and for what works for them, rather than bulldozer objectivity which polarises people into right and wrong and good and bad. So, thank you. Very much appreciated, yours is one of my favourite comments on this vid. Best, EW
This wide shot with her and the moon ruclips.net/video/HXWcP5f1nGQ/видео.html
I'd love know how that was done. Great work!
Thank you very much Joshua! That shot was achieved by shooting our actress on a very long lens and then compositing in the Moon footage we filmed through our 1350mm telescope.
@@Elliander Awesome! Thanks for responding, and very cool film
I hate these directors going for hyperbolic kafka-esque stories. ACTING is great.
Your comment really put a smile on our faces. Thanks so much for joining us and taking the time to watch and comment. Happy New Year to you. Elliot & Zander
@@Elliander Cos yer actors saved yer asses
@@SurdeInglaterr oh absolutely. Without actors we'd have no one to film lol
