I just want to Thank You for sharing your interest with us , Its all in Memory to my Cousin & the 55,500 crews who never came home . Kindest Regards to you
these are not good enough for DVD - just my attempts at keeping WW2 airfield history alive...safe travel up to Humberside....i must do Elsham Wolds sometime
I appreciate so much the work you put into keeping the memory of these places alive. The loss of life was tragic, but our world would look so different today if these brave men hadn't made the ultimate sacrifice. Thanks so much for posting, Chris!
So many young men lost. I have often felt that so many souls didn't get to live their full lives during the WWII era (though their short lives were precious, and meaningful), that they reincarnated as baby-boomers. A rapid reincarnation. Thank you for sharing. It is kind of you to make these memorial tributes. Bless.
Thank you, Chris, for another great video, packed with original footage, atmospheric music and a ton of fascinating facts. I plan to binge-watch your RAF playlists today, Chris, Armistice Day 2023...LEST WE FORGET the ultimate sacrifice made by so many brave souls. May they dwell in perpetual light, for eternity!!
I'm so glad I stumbled across your channel (again). I remember watching your videos several years ago and really liking them. Iirc you used to ride a bike (Triumph maybe?) when traveling to different destinations for investigations. Wonderful stuff!

Thanks for sharing the history of RAF Dalton, Chris. Very important we try and keep the old airfields pasts alive, as best we can.
pretty much unknown and forgotten airfield, now under the sprawl of an industrial estate

Dalton really was a very minor airfield but it is important not to forget the roles played by the little airfields
Brilliant work as always Chris, well done and thank you 😊. Have a great weekend buddy ❤

You really should try and get to ex Raf bassingbourne the place is alive with souls.
i've been there, the ghosts of Bassingbourn are covered in my first Haunted WW2 Airfields book... shame the museum seems to be permanently closed now
