I love the use of the non-photo blue! Old school but, so useful! Kids today, have no clue! Edit: Very talented Khary. Probably never see this message but regardless, thank you for the share
Is that a Koh-I-Noor 5600 series Lead Holder Clutch Pencil? I have a 5616, all metal one, and I love it, and in fact, it's kind of hard for me to use any other Lead holder. Good to see you share the same taste too.
The original hobbit audio book is awesome....last time i listened to it was on a cross country trip during the middle of the night in the pouring rain.....awesome
with non-photo blue lead in some specific scanners and settings on photoshop the blue will not be picked up. This is a staple used in animation as well as comic book page prototypes. You can use it to doodle out concepts and clean up with india ink/G-Pen/fine paint brush. Hope this helps.
I First off I'm now inspired to hook my basement, then I have a question how did you get into drawin comics? I mainly draw graffitti and want to start add that to my art works. Keep rocking, Peace.
You're very talented! I got a question for you, I love to draw comic book charactors, I even created alot on my own, but the inking is very tiresome to my left hand, and i love to ink my work. My question is, how do I ink in a comfertable way so it won't be hurtful to my hand?
what i do is i buy inking pens and use them for the outlines, and then for filling in things like hair i use a small brush and dip it into my ink bottle and just color it in

I feel like being a comic book artist is kinda depressing since it consumes so much of your life.
That's why being a comic book artist is only for people who like to draw
★_Vizualize_★ well you can be right but for most people who do that as there career is because they love it and in that case its not that depressing
I hear ya. I 'm a freelance artist too and I'm already preparing myself to work through the Thanksgiving break.
thats called exploitation
Is not for you lol . That's the whole point of being a artist duhh!!!! Do what your good at.
What advice would you give to someone trying to work in comics as a penciller?
