I find this so cool. I used to do comics before I switched to the videogames industry... maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany years ago and this brings back so many memories. I do miss seeing original art drawn and inked on paper.
im a comicbook colorist and i've always worked alone. I've always wanted to experience working in a studio with a bunch of great artists such as this. more power to you guys!
Aztec Empire looks and sounds amazing! I've always wanted to make historical fiction graphic novels, and I can appreciate the huge amount of work that goes into making one. Glad to add it to my reading list!
Love Leila's Sleepless. Also, Paul's Chrono's is one of my favorite books. Great seeing Colleen Coover and Ron Randall for the first time. Thanks for the tour!
Wonderfull! It's fascinating and exciting how everyone is producing their work with so much creativity and passion! I wish you all good health and success! I also love to draw... Good vibes to you from Brazil. 🇧🇷
Great comic and graphic novel Collective. Great idea to put these videos on RUclips. I like all the stuff I'm seeing so far. That Aztec empire looks great. It should eventually be put into an animated form also.
I really like the music you edit these to. I just came across your page from suggested and I loved watching what people have been working on and the inking process. Love process videos!
Just found this channel and have to be honest, that looks like a fun room to be in. As much as I enjoy drawing and painting on my own absorbed in my headphones, I equally enjoy creating with other creatives around. That just looks like a good time. :) Are you guys located in Portland?
Are you all independent artists working in a shared space? Or is this an actual business with shared clients? I would feel grateful to have a space like that to work in.. thank you for the video and opening up your doors to the world.
We’re all independent freelancers contributing rent for the shared space. That said, a fair amount of us have had the opportunity to collaborate on projects throughout the years as colleagues.
Great question! It's different for every artist and every project. For me, the biggest reason is that as I get older, sometimes it's easier for my eyes and wrists to enlarge a small panel on my screen. And sometimes when an artist is drawing for publishers and corporate clients, there are a lot of changes that need to be made quickly, and digital art is a lot faster and more flexible to correct.
but people, why do are you wasting your short lives drawing comics? in a few weeks AI will be able to draw much better comics in a matter of milliseconds ... learn how to grow potatoes instead
I wish there were little art studios like this where I live. Working alone can be very isolating, it would be fun to be around other creators.
Start your own! I am feeling the same way, I’m thinking about starting a local group.

(*Liz Lemon Voice) I want to go to there.
Why do you use softwares to draw? ...for example, I am an Artist and I draw faster with ordinary pencil than with a digital pencil.
