Your video showed cake layers similar to ones achieved by most people- imperfect and slightly broken from here n there. This is one of the few videos actually showing the realistic stuff rather than better than perfect stuff which is so hard to achieve for beginners.

Anyone can make perfect cake forms. It's not that difficult. All you have to do is lube the pans and let them cool completely in the pans before dumping them out.

Such a great trick! I used a plate underneath the ring that had an indent just larger than the ring so it wouldn't slip and placed the cake plate on top and it worked perfectly
