Excellent tutorial. It was extremely helpful. I live in Connecticut(USA) so I have to bring my tropical plants(dwarf lemon and lime trees, tangerine(Mandarin oranges) and orange trees, Mandeville and Dwarf Hibiscus plants indoors. I keep them in my basement from Fall to Spring till all danger of frost is gone.
I did this, wrapped each in newspaper with sulfur powder & stored their box in a very dry warehouse around 50F for 6 months - when i took them out this spring, i put them in a pail of water and they all floated so I thought they were dead (dried/dessicated) so I threw them out. What do you think I did wrong? if they float, they're definitely dead right?

Hey thanks :)
they dont go dormant if your indoor temp is 70F and above. Here in calif we grow it indoor even during winter time
Agreed. I have left some Indoors and they keep going. I generalized this for people with in and outdoor. I like to replicate seasons
Thank you. Question: Do we have to store them every year?
Watching in California in May 2022.
I forgot I stored my Caladium bulbs, will re plant them and see what happens
