Love your food/travel vlogs! Haleiwa is pronounced Ha lay eva, but yes their açaí bowls are so good! & Fyi Zippys will be opening in Vegas on 10/10 😊🤙🏽

Aloha guys! You seem like such a nice couple and are very respectful to our islands. Mahalo for that and I will "like and subscribe!" Couple of comments: 1. It's "shave ice", not "shaved ice". 2. Zippy's is actually falling out of favor with locals due to the shrinking portions and higher prices. Their loco moco is actually better than Rainbow's . I like Rainbows overall, but their loco moco is subpar. Try Liliha Bakery's original Kalihi location for awesome loco moco. 3. You're "on"Oahu, not "in" Oahu. 4. In Waikiki for a quick bite, you must get the pork guisantes bento from any ABC Store! Better than most Filipino restaurant's versions, no joke! Take care and hope you will return soon!
