    I have those R35 with labela flats it sounds great, my number one for live situations. Cut through the mix like a knife, JMJ sounds so good !

      Ive heard good things about the labelas, might try a set on that bass when I get around to changing the strings. The JMJ is so good, I haven't really touch any of my other basses since getting it haha

    Love your videos. I have a question. When you recording bass to drum track, what block size do you use? Also, do you use the DAW monitor or direct monitor when recording? Thank you.

      Thanks, when you say block size, do you mean buffer size? I usually use 128 samples and yes I have direct monitoring on. When I need more accuracy I have two armed tracks, one with monitoring and one without and record both. That was the track without monitoring will be more in time and I can copy it to the track with the plugins

      @@KeroDean Can you explain it a bit more? If both of the tracks are recorded at the same time. How does the track without monitoring have better timing?

    Thanks for the demo. I just wanted to ask with the JMJ do you get a volume drop when rolling back the tone let’s say anything below 70% tone?

    • @KeroDean
      @KeroDean  Год назад

      I just tested, and there's no actual difference in volume at all even at 50% or 0% tone but I guess it could maybe be perceived as lower because its more 'muffled' I guess but no actual volume drop. I recorded a waveform to check and it doesn't get lower volume.

    Are these the stock flatwounds that come on the JMJ or a different brand?

    • @KeroDean

      Stock ones, I think they're fender flats

      Absolutely the jmj, I find my self reaching for that one every time. I might as well sell the others haha

      @@KeroDean haha I keep hearing similar comments about those becoming peoples favorites. Ordered a black one off reverb yesterday so I’m excited for it to come in
