I love to change Christmas to Winter… take away the obvious red, replace Santas with snowmen, snowflakes in the garland, and all things wintery, then we’re on to Valentines, mesh those two together. It makes my heart happy in the gloomiest months of the year
I had my wedding ceremony two years ago (married longer) and one thing my photographer mentioned that has stuck with me is his response to what should I do about my glasses. I wear them all the time and hate contacts. Id done my own natural, glowy makeup, but the photographer told me "look like yourself. If you wear those every day, let your pictures look like you". I thought that was so sweet. I took some photos with and without my glasses, but I still think about how sweet he was ❤
Hey Emily! I wonder if you could do a different eye look once a week when you have such a versatile new palette to work with. Like for a month? Maybe just as YT Shorts, if you're worried about appearing to be too loyal to any one brand. Four different Sydney Grace looks in a month wouldn't bore anyone, and might encourage more of us to spend the money on such a wonderful product. Love this look, you're always so smooth (just like the SG eyeshadows!). Thanks for the video!

I’m on a low buy this year but I decided to reach for my Sydney Grace singles this morning in similar shades! Her formula is so beautiful. Depending on what’s released this year this palette may be one of the 6 I add because it’s just so perfect!

I have several Sydney Grace palettes, and they're probably the best quality shadows I own. I do wish however that they would put out a palette with more unique, maybe grunge style shades, similar to a Melt palette.
I wish they'd do a colorful palette that's more cool-toned. They had a set they did w/ Temptalia, but it was limited edition. Grunge would be awesome, too.

Love the lamp in the background - adds warmth & balances the light from the garland. I also keep some mini lights from Christmas out for winter - it gets so gray out just as we are taking down all the lights & colors of Christmas-I need a little brightness. 😊

Em, you look stunning, as always! Also, you've unwittingly convinced me this palette is not as neutral and soft as what I'd hoped a 'bridal-themed' palette would be. I think I hoped the SG would be a high-quality but more affordable version of the MUBM 'Ethereal' palette, or ND 'I need a nude.'

I love watching your videos for techniques and reviews. I am 51 and like trying different things. My bestie has peacocks on her farm and I have some feathers in my room from her. That inspired a make up look I thought I could pull off, teal purple a little magenta hidden in there. I looked like I was in a car accident with 2 bruised “black “ eyes. After a good laugh I started over.

Hi Emily I think most brides want a soft natural look- playing up their features without anything too on trend (later on being dated). This seems like a dark palette as a light option tbh and once again is predominantly warm toned. It’s a mostly warm toned darker neutral palette and truthfully most brands have that type of palette on offer. A great formula can elevate a more basic colour scheme, but it’s not going to be something I really want to buy. The hype around ND I need a nude and some of the recent colorpop offerings eg 11:11 show people’s current preferences for softer shades IMO. Best wishes x

I definitely get eczema flair ups during the winter . I believe because of the heating in the house . I always forget to put a humidifier on until my skin is already dry 😭.

The eye symptoms you mentioned could be Blepharitis, flaky skin on the edge of the eyelid, swelling on the edge of the top lids and itchiness!

Sorry Emily, I disagree with adding the black to the soft shadows. It looked out of place. Sometimes a soft look is meant to just be a soft look without any dark or deep shadows. I do like the palette, it looks very nice.
